Improvements
[edit]I have made a few minor changes to the draft here before it's ready to be moved into mainspace, and would suggest a couple more. The references should be cleaned up (I will do the first one as an example and leave you to do the rest; ask me if you have any questions about how to do this). The "reviews" section should also form a coherent piece of text rather than a list, and should be edited for neutrality. Personally I would remove the section and include a couple of mentions of notable reviews in another section. GiftigerWunsch [TALK] 13:30, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
- If possible, the other lists (theater / radio plays) should also be integrated into the text above, and trimmed down to the most notable ones. GiftigerWunsch [TALK] 13:32, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
- I've improved one web citation and one news article citation to show you how it's done. Don't hesitate to ask me on my talk page if you need further help. GiftigerWunsch [TALK] 13:37, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
Firstly - many many thanks for taking the time to give me some guidelines on editing Chris Thorpes Wikipedia entry - it is much appreciated. I have cleaned up the references and rejigged the sections as you have said: http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User_talk:Joshrogan/Chris_Thorpe
an wondering if it is any closer to moving into its own section? Also I am still confused about the process of disambiguation as there is already a Chris Thorpe entry in for a namesake.
many thanks again, JR Joshrogan (talk) 12:54, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
- The sourcing seems reasonable, though I haven't actually looked at the sources themselves, and the article is nearly up to standard in terms of wikilinks and layout, so it's certainly getting closer. As for disambiguation, this could enter mainspace as Chris Thorpe (playwright) or something similar, depending on what he's best known for. The Chris Thorpe article would simply need a hatnote referring to this individual. GiftigerWunsch [TALK] 13:04, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
