User talk:Joo-joo eyeball
Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- How to edit a page
- Editing, policy, conduct, and structure tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Manual of Style
- The Five Pillars of Wikipedia
- Merging, redirecting, and renaming pages
- If you're ready for the complete list of Wikipedia documentation, there's also Wikipedia:Topical index.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome!
Perhaps you could remove the redirect on your user page, which is considerably disruptive to other users wanting to get to your talk page etc. Cheers, smoddy 17:17, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Cheers. That's unconventional, but fine! smoddy 17:23, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)

[edit]i read the changes (controversy section), but even that sounds like UN buttkissing to me. seems that the entire article accepts a ridiculous premise, just because most of the world does. i don't see that as wikipedia's role. the UN has no business in my life, but you'd never get that impression from reading the article. truth. the premise of UN "authority" should be examined in the article; that borderline-laughable conceit is the foundation of all the verbiage, IMO. wikipedia should not be the propaganda arm of the UN, even if only through subtle acquiescence.
