This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of The Dinner Party (2012), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.documentaryaustralia.com.au/films/details/1250/the-dinner-party.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

Speedy deletion nomination of The Dinner Party (2012)[edit]

Hello Jones62,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged The Dinner Party (2012) for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Dewritech (talk) 10:26, 26 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Marzio Del Testa requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Help me![edit]

Please help me with... I posted a translation from Italian to English of an existing Wikipedia page about an Italian musician on the English Wikipedia but I received a message that the article is not relevant, or something of the sort! but it already exists in another language so isn't a tralslation always relevant???!!!

Jones62 (talk) 07:56, 16 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not familiar with the relevant policies on Italian Wikipedia, but the source article appears to be lacking references, which are required to ensure verifiability and establish the subject's notability here on English Wikipedia. To start with, you may try to look for reliable sources (e.g. newspaper and magazine articles) about Marzio online. By the way, the next time you translate articles, you may want to give the Content Translation tool a try. It will preserve all the formatting, while being streamlined and easy to use. If you prefer live chat, you can get help on our IRC channel. Thank you! Zhaofeng Li [talkcontribs] 09:15, 16 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I change it to an administrator help request, they will be able to see the deleted page and possibly undelete it. The administrator can probably find the page you mean in your contribution history or in the earlier messages on your page, but it would help if you post the exact article title here so that they can immediately find it. As Zhaofeng Li said above, you will need reliable published sources such as newspapers or reputable music magazines backing up that information. Without such sources we cannot have an article about Del Testa; the content of a Wikipedia article should be a summary of what the sources report. Thus translating the unreferenced Italian article is useless; please first find published sources that are subject to editorial oversight, then summarize in your own words what those sources report and cite the sources. Doing so in your sandbox is a good idea; then you can submit the draft for a review by an experienced editor when it's ready. Huon (talk) 18:19, 19 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
