Kevin Michael Schmitz is an American photographer in Los Angeles and New York. He has photographed advertising campaigns for Smirnoff, Miller Lite, Coors Light, [[1]] and San Manuel. He has published editorials in San Diego Magazine, LA Fashion Magazine, LA Hot Magazine, Resource Magazine, Beach Magazine, SLR Lounge and ProFoto.
He attended Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan and majored in photography. In 2009 he was awarded the Young Alumni of The Year Award at Grand Valley State University for his published editorials in The LA Fashion Magazine on the Israel Gaza Conflict in 2009.
Schmitz attended the Masters of Fine Arts in photography at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California. While in San Francisco, Schmitz published his first fashion editorials in CMYK Magazine.
In 2008, he moved to Los Angeles to work as a fashion and advertising photographer.
In 2009, he founded The Photography Workshop Series, an educational photography seminar designed to develop the careers of emerging photographers throughout the United States.
In 2014, he founded Elite Creative Consulting, a creative branding consulting company partnered with Klick Communications.
