If you wrote it, it's a different kettle of fish, at least to some extent. You don't have to change it at all (*ahem* except I'd recommend getting rid of the misused apostrophes /*ahem*). There is a seemingly cumbersome procedure enumerated here: Wikipedia:Donating_copyrighted_materials#Granting_us_permission_to_copy_material_already_online used to assert authorship and releases the material for use on Wikipedia. In practice, I'm perfectly willing to accept your claim of authorship and not re-revert, but there's no guarantee that someone else won't find the same site and remove it again. I'd put a note on the page's talk page saying pretty much what you said to me, which would hopefully forestall removal. I'd still suggest that going through the procedure noted above would be the best way to go.
