A tag has been placed on Extralife radio, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page, and put a note on Talk:Extralife radio. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Thanks. -- Shadowlynk (Talk) 08:27, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

Reviewer permission
[edit]Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
For the guideline on reviewing, see Wikipedia:Reviewing. Being granted reviewer rights doesn't change how you can edit articles even with pending changes. The general help page on pending changes can be found here, and the general policy for the trial can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 19:30, 12 July 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of 2010 Barack Obama visit to India
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on 2010 Barack Obama visit to India, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Mtking (talk) 08:49, 4 July 2011 (UTC)

The article Frank Dikötter has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Eeekster (talk) 03:17, 8 July 2011 (UTC)

The article Russia vs Ukraine (1999) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable match, no citations of notability, fails WP:EVENT.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. WWGB (talk) 13:05, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

Deviation from the source
[edit]Now, please explain exactly why you make changes that deviate from the source. Sources should be respected, not changed by editors at will. So you need to conform to what the sources say. If you keep deviating from sources, in the end you will get blocked. It will take a few discussions, but you already know that the deviation train goes to blockland. [edit]In this edit you have either crossed WP:3RR or are just about to. I did not count that carefully. But you are clearly due for a block if you perform another revert, so please read WP:3RR and note that it is a "bright line rule" which always results in a block, once you have been informed of it. The issue is being discussed, you must stop reverting, or be blocked. History2007 (talk) 21:01, 24 October 2012 (UTC)

Unsourced claim
[edit]Just checking, did you look for sources for the claim/have reason to believe it was false, or did you just remove it because it was unsourced? (Trying to decide whether to look for a source or not) Ryan Vesey 16:03, 4 February 2013 (UTC)
- I did make a simple quick google search to try to find a source and failed; I felt at that point that it was better to remove the claim. I don't find it a particularly notable event anyway--I'm not sure it needs to be in the article at all. But that's my opinion.--Johnsemlak (talk) 16:07, 4 February 2013 (UTC)
