A tag has been placed on Cedar Creek (Pennsylvania), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Lifebaka 23:49, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Good Articles...
Hey, thanks for reviewing the article History of Dallas, Texas (1874-1929) and passing it. Just a few notes on the procedure for listing an article. Don't just list it at the top of the page, remember to ALSO list it under the appropriate heading and sub-heading in the big list, and update the heading count as well. Keep up the good weork, and we really appreciate the help you give with reviewing articles, and look forward to any more help you can give! --Jayron32|talk|contribs 21:05, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
Well....
I was somewhat concerned when I went to close the GA/R, because looking at the page history, it did look like most of the recent edit summaries had to do with what people in the review were asking for, but at 5 to delist and one to keep, the review qualified as 80 percent to do something, so I went and did something with it :/. Something else that made me not want to continue the review further was that the article apparently wasn't listed on the main WP:GA page, so I assumed somebody had delisted it already, and just not removed the tag on the article talk page. I don't think it would hurt the article really to be passed by someone else anyway, but if its just been nominated again recently, I don't think it would be fair for me to review it when so many articles have much older nominations.... Homestarmy 20:11, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, there's no reason to wait to nominate it for FA status if you can get it ready, an article doesn't need to be a GA first to be an FA. Homestarmy 20:17, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
- Well, the main thing I saw in the GA/R was just grammar and copyediting type stuff, so if you fix it, then you already know its probably a GA irregardless of whether its been recognized as such, if you're aiming for FA and have the time to address concerns in FAC's, I don't think you might necessarily want to wait around for it to be reviewed again for GA. Does the article have a recent Peer Review? If it doesn't, you might want to do that too. Homestarmy 20:28, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

GAC backlog elimination drive
This form message is being sent to you either due to your membership with WikiProject Good Articles and/or your inclusion on the Wikipedia:Good article candidates/List of reviewers. A new drive has been started requesting that all members review at least one article (or more, if you wish!) within the next two weeks at GAC to help in removing the large backlog. This message is being sent to all members, and even members who have been recently reviewing articles. There are almost 130 members in this project and about 180 articles that currently need to be reviewed. If each member helps to review just one or two articles, the majority of the backlog will be cleared. Since the potential amount of reviewers may significantly increase, please make sure to add :{{GAReview}} underneath the article you are reviewing to ensure that only one person is reviewing each article. Additionally, the GA criteria may have been modified since your last review, so look over the criteria again to help you to determine if a candidate is GA-worthy. If you have any questions about this drive or the review process, leave a message on the GAC talk page. --Nehrams2020 00:44, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you for passing the article as GA! Do you have any pointers for improvement, on the way to FA status? Smee 17:50, 28 May 2007 (UTC).
