Aliquot

I undid your edits to aliquot. The wiktionary entry that you replaced most of this dab page with does not supply most of the relevant meanings, Wikipedia still has many not-yet-disambiguated bluelinks from article space for the chemical meaning that you removed, and the land surveying meaning is present (though I think not linked) in Land description and Public Land Survey System. I'd be willing to see a disambiguation page that removed the extra bluelink on the "divisor" line, or that took out the word "is" from the entries, but otherwise I don't think the current level of description is excessive, and I think the shorter descriptions you provided are definitely too short: they make it difficult to tell which dab is the right one to follow without opening up and reading the articles that they link to. MOS:DAB states "Keep in mind that the primary purpose of the disambiguation page is to help people find the specific article they want quickly and easily.", and I think your version is too cryptic to do that. —David Eppstein (talk) 01:25, 6 April 2011 (UTC)

Twitter Bot

Hello. My name is Ciphers, and i run my bot mainly on Wikiar. I am very interested in your bot for twitter, i was wondering if i can get a copy of the code or hints for programming such a bot? would you please reply in my discussion page. --Ciphers (talk) 07:28, 27 March 2011 (UTC)

Sorry for the late reply. This code is several years old at this point, and was rather messy even then, so I don't feel comfortable sharing it. I have been thinking about resuscitating this bot, though. If I do I'll let you know. —johndburger 23:04, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
