Welcome
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia! I see you corrected the grammar in a section of the baklava article. I have removed that section entirely, because it was not only badly written (which you partially corrected), but not good quality in general. The claims it made were unsourced (despite the list of dictionaries) and the details of Arabic linguistics are irrelevant whether baqlawah is related to the Semitic root b-q-l or not. As a general rule, I try to avoid cleaning up spelling, punctuation, and wording in sections which are questionable on other bases. First of all, I'd rather spend my time on something else; secondly, improving the style makes the questionable content more plausible; I would rather it keep the signs of its origin.... --Macrakis 21:58, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
