John F. Carrol

[edit]

Hi there! The article has to go, as it's currently doesn't establish any notability and doesn't appear to contain any reliable sources. If you'd like to improve it further, I can retrieve the text for you and add it to another page, such as User:JohnCrrll/John_F._Carroll.

I strongly recommend that you use the articles for review process in order to move it into the article space when you're done in order to have a better shot at avoiding deletion. This is very simple, just add {{subst:submit}} to the article when you're ready for a review, and it will be listed for a review. Once the review is done, the article will either be accepted or rejected, in case of the latter you'll be notified, and the article will also get a message added to the top explaining what issues it has.

Oh, and by the way, since your username looks remarkably like the name of the subject, I'd also advise you to read a bit about conflict of interest. Creating/editing an article about yourself isn't forbidden, but it's generally not recommended. Bjelleklang - talk 09:41, 19 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:John F. Carroll (director).jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:John F. Carroll (director).jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Proposed deletion of The Wizard of Stone Mountain

[edit]

The article The Wizard of Stone Mountain has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable fan film, only coverage is on blogs/forums/podcasts, does not meet WP:NF

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
