A tag has been placed on Kolath family, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Moreover, please add more verifiable sources, not only 3rd party sources. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Syrthiss (talk) 11:40, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Riva Philip, Kolath Tholoor has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:

unreferenced biography

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. JamesBWatson (talk) 12:00, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Kolath family has been deleted, because it was a repost of Kolath, which was deleted following a deletion discussion. Please do not repost pages which have been deleted following deletion discussions. JamesBWatson (talk) 12:10, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Riva_Philip,_Kolath_Tholoor, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please do NOT remove deletion tag or reference tag without resolution. Speedy deletion of United Republic of India

[edit]

Hello JohnBlake200, this is a message from an automated bot to inform you that the page you created on October 8 2010, United Republic of India, has been marked for speedy deletion by User:Crusoe8181 (page has mainspace links, and 4 edits). This has been done because the page is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader (see CSD). If you think the tag was placed in error, please add "{{hangon}}" to the page text, and edit the talk page to explain why the page should not be deleted. If you have a question about this bot, please ask it at User talk:SDPatrolBot II. If you have a question for the user who tagged the article, see User talk:Crusoe8181. Thanks, - SDPatrolBot II (talk) on behalf of Crusoe8181 (talk · contribs) 08:44, 12 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Kolath has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This is a deleted article re-introduced without any source and without meeting the Notability criteria

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I've noticed that an IP (presumably you) have removed the PROD tag for this article created by you without any comment in the edit summary or talk page. I strongly believe this is a candidate of speedy deletion criteria, but just acting in good faith giving you a chance reply. If you believe an article created by you should not be deleted, please mention the reasons in the talk page. Please do not use IPs (one from home and another from office) to undo. If you do not do it, it only minimize the chance of the article's survival. Mathew Joy (talk) 09:28, 13 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I am putting back the PROD tag for a third time, which you or one of your IPs have removed. When I placed it for the first time I mentioned in the talk page that the reference that was provided too poor to be called as a reference. If it is removed without discussing this will be reported to an administrator. Please read WP:BLP for more information. Mathew Joy (talk) 18:13, 13 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Family of Kolath, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Nomination of Riva Philip, Kolath Tholoor for deletion

[edit]

A discussion has begun about whether the article Riva Philip, Kolath Tholoor, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Riva Philip, Kolath Tholoor until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Mathew Joy (talk) 10:20, 14 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you don't want the article to be deleted, please discuss in the Articles for deletion section. Reverting the tags placed wont help. Hurling insults at others will only hurt you. Whether I am the owner of Wikipedia or not should not be a concern to you. (Strangely people from this side ask the ownership qn when something they do is reverted.) You have to abide by the rules and guidelines of Wikipedia when you are here. Its the same when you are in office. And please don't use the IPs (especially the tata indicom, Chennai one) to do reverts. It does not further your cause. Mathew Joy (talk) 18:17, 15 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Indian National congress - IT Cell requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

And please do not include insults in your edit summary. Hairhorn (talk) 03:29, 15 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi John Blake

[edit]

It seems that you have created a number of articles related to Kozhencherry and Marthoma institutions there. But I find that you were not born in that village/small town but in Durban a far away place in another continent. Your name also is not a Saint Thomas Christian names name. Are you related to someone in Kolath (Tholoor) family? I know Kozhencherry, the institutions and most of the people whom you have mentioned in the edits and in the articles you have created.

About the noted people from Kozhencherry, can you tell what they are noted for? Five of the noted people are from outside Kozhencherry. Most of the others are from one family. One of them is from Mar Thoma Church, Durban, your place of residence. Two are from Parayil family. I don’t think it is proper to write the names of living young people as noted persons unless they are famous for something.

I am deleting the section “Noted people from Kozhencherry.” If you want to include these names, please create an article in their names and show how they are noted people.Neduvelilmathew (talk) 18:25, 3 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Marthoma Senior Secondary School, Kozhencherry is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Marthoma Senior Secondary School, Kozhencherry until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.
