Re: Crubeen second album title "Crubeen"
[edit]Sadly, the insert sleeve is missing from my Eagle's Whistle LP, so I have no details about the album's songs. However I may ask to some more knowledgeable friends, details about the recording sessions, but it should take some times. I have never seen a picture of the second LP, never seen it listed too and this is very frustrating! I should go in Ireland next year, so maybe I'll find a copy there. I shall recontact you if I find more infos (difficulty is to find sources...). --Vegetable man38 (talk · contribs) 15:49, 1 May 2011 (UTC)

Northern Ireland
[edit]Please refrain from removing references to Northern Ireland from articles. On Wikipedia we generally place people and things in their country, not into a landmass. For instance New York is in the United States, not North America. London is in England, not Great Britain. Canterbury Tail talk 12:13, 21 August 2011 (UTC)
- Do not try and get around the fact that these bands come from Northern Ireland by removing reference to any origin entirely, such deletions are considered vandalism. If you don't like the term Northern Ireland then that is fine, but it is the name of the country and is for use on Wikipedia. Do not continue removing references to it from the project. Ownership and deletion vandalism
[edit]Please note that any material you contribute to Wikipedia is not of your ownership, you do not own the pages that you create they become part of the project and editable by all editors. Deliberate removal of the nationality and origin of bands from the pages is deletion vandalism. Having the information in there is not vandalism, it is additional information for the readers. Removing information from articles because you do not like it is disruptive editing and not helpful to the project as a whole. The origin information will be reinstated as a reversal of vandalism edits. If you continue to delete valid content from Wikipedia you will be blocked from editing. Please read WP:OWN, WP:NPOV and WP:Vandalism. Canterbury Tail talk 21:32, 21 August 2011 (UTC)
This is the final warning that you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. The next time you vandalize a page, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Canterbury Tail talk 21:34, 21 August 2011 (UTC)

Newry, Northern Ireland
[edit]John, plaese stop with the removal of the origin of the band. It is load and clear and backup up by soruces that they originate in Newry, County Down, Northern Ireland. Nothing wrong with that. But the constant removal of a sourced fact is vandalism. It would be a bit pity if you get blocked for this. So please, please, please, stop with removing that! Night of the Big Wind talk 00:48, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
You may not be aware that there are policies to prevent edit warring. Take a look at WP:3RR. You're over the limit of reverts at the Crubeen article, and you may be blocked from editing if you revert again. --HighKing (talk) 00:52, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 01:10, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
