Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, John2135, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Shahs protection, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! IagoQnsi (talk) 23:32, 29 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Shahs protection, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Speedy deletion nomination of Ayaz shah

[edit]

Hello John2135,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Ayaz shah for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Julietdeltalima (talk) 23:39, 29 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to remove speedy deletion notices from pages you created yourself, as you did at Ayaz shah, you may be blocked from editing. Julietdeltalima (talk) 23:48, 29 February 2016 (UTC) Why are you insisting on deletion of a page when you don't know anything. In future you must ask fine or I may have to report you[reply]

Speedy deletions

[edit]

I recognize that you are new to Wikipedia. Please understand that any new article is subject to review by the community for deletion if the article does not meet Wikipedia's standards for notability of subjects. When an article is marked for speedy deletion, the author of the article is not allowed to remove that tag from the article, as the speedy-deletion notices clearly state. It is not inappropriate for a reviewer to restore a speedy-deletion tag and warn the author about such removal. If you have questions about the process of article creation and review, you are always able to ask those questions at the Teahouse. Julietdeltalima (talk) 00:47, 1 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Ayazshah1995, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Some information that would be worth your time to read

[edit]

As you are a new user you will no doubt be unfamiliar with the policies and guidelines here. Anything that any editor creates on Wikipedia does not belong to them, this is covered in [{WP:OWN]]. Any editor may edit any page they desire unless they are subject to sanctions. They may also nominate any article for deletion, either through WP:CSD or WP:AFD. Please read WP:RS for guidance on the sort of sourcing required and WP:NOTABILITY on what constitutes notability. Blackmane (talk) 01:05, 2 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
