We'd need some confirmation through WP:OTRS that Christopher Schmidt really owns the rights to this image and released it dual-licensed GFDL/cc-by-sa-3.0 license. Such confirmation would have to come from an official address of Christopher Schmidt (listed on his website). Lupo 11:49, 10 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Repeated edits to Helena Mattsson

[edit]

Hello! You keep putting a photo in that has not cleared Commons approval yet. Please stop doing that! When you do, you also leave the old caption in there, which would be very confusing to any reader. I would hate to have to report you for doing this time and time and time again and ask that you be blocked for it. These edits are inappropriate. SergeWoodzing (talk) 23:03, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I see no problems with that photo, but people at Commons are a bit suspicious about copyright for contributors with just a single studio-quality photo of a celebrity. To remove all doubts, it would be advisable to send a written permission to commons:COM:OTRS. /Pieter Kuiper (talk) 00:18, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for violating copyright policy by copying text or images into Wikipedia from another source without verifying permission. You have been previously warned that this is against policy, but have persisted. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:25, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to be unblocked, you will need to convince the unblocking admin that you understand Wikipedia's copyright policy and you will not upload any more images or include images in articles unless they are properly licensed in accordance with Wikipedia's copyright policies. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:27, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
