This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Cogito ego sum, and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Cogito ergo sum. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 02:28, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 02:56, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
"Cogito ergo sum"
[edit]"Ergo" means "therefore". "Ego" means "I". "Cogito" = "I think"; "ergo" = "therefore"; "sum" = "I am". ... discospinster talk 02:57, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
- I was about to expound on the same detail. ego cogito, ergo sum translates to "I think, therefore [I] exist". The proper citation is either "Cogito, ergo sum" (dropping the pronoun, which is implicit in the conjugation of the verb) or, less frequently, "Ego cogito, ergo sum". "Cogito, ego sum" is broken, but would equate roughly "think, me exist". — Coren (talk) 03:22, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
