Well like Scorpion0422 said, "It's in the copyright database and the official press release as "'E. Pluribus Wiggum'" So since it is copyrighted with the period, please leave it like that, unless thesimpsons.com has no period when, and if they update it ever, as they are already 3 episodes behind. In case you didn't know please sign any posts you make on any talk page by typing ~~~~ thank you, Ctjf83 talk 08:31, 7 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, and as for the other part of your question, I'm not sure about any joke, who knows why The Simpsons staff does what they do. Maybe they have a reason, or it could be a typo, we'll just wait for thesimpsons.com to update Ctjf83 talk 08:33, 7 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
My apologies, I don't know if Scorpion was wrong, or if they changed it, but the copyright has no period [1] so I'll change it back Ctjf83 talk 08:49, 7 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Diamondback 26 Jan 2009.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Diamondback 26 Jan 2009.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:00, 28 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
