Nuclear Power

[edit]

Hi there, after our discussion I read some to prove my angle. So I would suggest to read the following: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uranwirtschaft

Unfortunately there is no translation but I'm sure you will manage. In short: A power source with only 80 years realistic reach is in my opinion shortsighted, regardless to the fact, that the risks are so high and there are better ways. And also I read about diffusion of Helium. The German and the english wiki reads something about permeation through solids, but it is out of context and therefore misleading (I will try to make a rectification some time). There is diffusion of Helium in solids , but that has nothing to do with problems of containing it. Helium can't Go through e.g. steel. If you do it right there is some effort needed (sealing) but there is not a problem in general. I liked our little talk! Have happy new year! Wolf SchmidWS (talk) 14:19, 30 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
