Jon Takagi AfD

Well I did say in the Peer review that there might be an issue with notability. Mdtemp is right up there with myself in AfD deletions for biographical articles but mostly it is for non-notable MMA fighters - basically everyone wants a page. I will also say that the criteria seem to have gotten tougher with time (a good thing) so not really worth arguing about what is out there already which is considered a nul argument as far as deletion discussions are concerned. I think that sometimes Mdtemp is a bit too even in his choices but he is not incorrect here either.

My background may be Shodokan but when I ran a dojo in Japan I was quite well known for bringing in instructors from all styles - my only experience with the US is through the occasional visit.

Now that said - I was going to put in a supportive statement but I wanted you done so anything I say does not get lost in the reams of text. AfD nominations require multiple input before deletion so my advice is let that happen. Please don't add anything more than a comment or two to the AfD debate.Peter Rehse (talk) 10:20, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
