Hi there,

I tried to publish a new page about the Business Centre Association (BCA) and it was rejected by yourself. I have edited it to try and maintain a neutral tone, although this is trickier than I thought! Would you be able to review the copy again and let me know if I'm on the right lines? Do I need to click 're-submit' to allow you to do this?

https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Business_Centre_Association_%28BCA%29

Many thanks Jo

(talk page stalker)Sorry, but it still reads like press agentry and trade association fluff. For starters: what on Earth is "the flexible workspace industry"???? --Orange Mike | Talk 23:49, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I have to agree with Orangemike, there's still a lot of iffy text in the article. One good way to look at article creation is Dragnet's famous line: "Just the facts ma'am". Things like "The BCA provides advice and location-finder services for potential users of flexible workspace" is a good example, as pointed out by Orangemike, as it sounds like you're trying to reach out to said people. Instead of saying that, say something like "The BCA provides advice to it's clients about ___" and find a reference that backs it up. A good example of a business page is Chicago Musical Instruments. It covers the facts without POV pushing, it details the company history in a concise and neutral way and it has plenty of references to back up it's facts. If you can, work a little bit more on making it neutral and resubmit it for creation. That way, you'll have a fresh pair of eyes looking it over for neutrality issues and hopefully can get it published. Thanks. Jns4eva ( อกยฐ อœส– อกยฐ) (talk) 20:55, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

About the Peter Foldes page

[edit]

Hi, the edit I made from that page is just redundancy. There were two wiki anchored from "A Short Vision" while the others don't have. I don't think that I made a mistake on editing it and removing the redundancy. โ€”ย Preceding unsigned comment added by Icecracker (talk โ€ข contribs) 15:10, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Thank you for your warm reminder, I know what my edits mean. But these templates are totally unncessary. First, that article has addressed what happened in 2016 which is quite recent and doesn't consequently need "update". Second, that article doesn't even have a source, how comes that it has "unreliable sources." --123.161.171.54 (talk) 00:46, 5 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I see your point but the reference you added is not a valid link and the article does need improvement. It's also generally frowned upon to revert an anti-vandalism bot. The very top of the article in your revision is "bold text", which is unnecessary. Also, the template is very necessary. Granted, the source template is the wrong one but it is incomplete and needs both valid sources and additional information. It's not just about one updated line with 2016 information. Also please be aware of the three revert rule, which states you cannot revert an article more than three times in one day. Feel free to respond to me here with your thoughts and response or if you have any questions! Jns4eva (talk) 00:57, 5 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I was wondering how my edit constituted vandalism? Before my edit the fight was listed as being won by (beyblade spin), I changed it to knee and punches. In addition I described how the fight was won in the upper section, its been reverted to an announcement which doesn't make sense since the fight just happened.

My apologies! I clicked the wrong IP address. I've retracted my warning and I apologize for the error. Jns4eva (talk) 05:45, 5 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Chorlton High School

[edit]

You deleted my edit to this page as you stated that I had not added any credible source. I went and found an independant credible source, although I was actually at the school at the time of said changes, so I in myself was a credible source. However, after removing my edit, you then went and plagiarized my information, almost word for word. โ€”ย Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.21.155.226 (talk) 01:23, 25 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there! There seems to be a bit of a misunderstanding. My only edit to the page was to revert your edit as it did not contain a credible source. I did not add any further information to the page afterwards, it appears that it was re-added by a different user after the revert. Unfortunately, you do not count as a credible source as Wikipedia only allows third party references and does not allow original research. See the article located at WP:NOR for more information. Please, stop messing up my page, on my idol of the great wider receiver, Danny Davis III. Thanks! 14442tt8479372 (talk) 19:51, 26 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Well, you have to understand this is brief banter between my friend and I. All of the information on Danny Davis page is factual, and is verifiable by the cited sources.

Thank you for clarifying but Wikipedia articles are not for bantering with friends. Also, you only have a single source on the page. My intention is definitely not to stop you from creating or editing a page, rather, it was simply to help you understand that removing speedy deletion tags is not the way to fix the article and unfortunately usually leads to a temporary block. However, now that the page is in draft space, please continue to work on it and add more sources and information and make it a great article! Jns4eva (talk) 20:03, 26 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No one is being rude or attacking you (or your "idol"). My issue isn't with EPSN being a reputable source, it's with it being the ONLY source. Also, please stop with the disruptive edits to my talk page. Thanks! Jns4eva (talk) 20:11, 26 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
