[edit]Hello, I'm Toddst1. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Alexander Jefferson, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. WP:DOB is one of the more serious areas of WP:BLP. Toddst1 (talk) 00:10, 1 April 2022 (UTC)
- I've gone ahead and found a source and added it to the date of birth after you edit warred that unsourced WP:DOB back in there. Your behavior there is unacceptable, especially for someone who has been editing since 2006. The WP:BURDEN was on you and WP:DOB is to be taken seriously and I see you've been blocked for WP:BLP issues twice before. Consider this a final warning on WP:BLP issues. - Hi @Toddst1:, no need to take such an aggressive tone. I’m afraid you’re in the wrong here. The date of birth was already sourced by reference #1 from the History Makers. The DOB just needed to be repeated in the opening paragraph of the main body so that it all aligned. I see you’ve now repeated the source after the brackets of the intro. In line with layout standards, it shouldn’t really be dumped here. I will move it. Please try to take a more co-operative tone with other users in future. If you do not use your edit summary to make it clear what you’re doing then it’s not inappropriate for me to revert your edits multiple times. Thank you --Jkaharper (talk) 10:10, 1 April 2022 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, but you are mistaken. The DOB was not cited. I cited it.
- You can talk about my tone all you want but your actions on that page are against at least two policies: WP:EW, WP:DOB and you failed to read the my edit summary, saying my action was "unexplained." Again you are wrong and trying to make your mistake about someone else. Toddst1 (talk) 16:07, 1 April 2022 (UTC)
