I am now proud owner of a TUSC account!

We don't disambiguate people by loading detailed descriptions into the brackets; we always use the most general disambiguator possible for any given topic. "Canadian politician" is the correct disambiguator for him under WP:DAB rules. Meant to also add the following (duh!): one of the reasons we have to keep in mind is that we can't be certain that he'll never hold another office after the mayoralty — and we can't use a disambiguator that requires us to change the article title every time he changes jobs. Your requests at RFPP
Hello -
I declined the two requests for protection you made today, and I thought I'd drop a note to explain why. 'Recent' is taken seriously in terms of WP:RFPP.
Take this kindly, because I'm kind, but these two requests didn't come close. The Sassanid Empire article has had seven total edits in June. In contrast, see the (Transformers)&action=history history of Blackout (Transformers). See the difference? That's an edit war. Check the page histories of articles which we have protected recently for a less dramatic example.
Also, a request for cascading protection is very unusual, and I don't think you quite understand what it means. (Don't feel bad, 'cause in the beginning I didn't understand it either.)
In the request you made for cascading protection, the infobox template itself would have been protected, but that wouldn't have done anything for mistakes or vandalism to the information in the infobox in the article. The infobox template is a skeleton, but protecting it doesn't mean an article in which it's used won't contain bad information. I can protect {{Infobox hockey}}, but that won't prevent people from vandalising the statistics or names inserted into the infobox in a given article. See the difference?
Plus we can't cascade a semi-protected page - we can only cascade with fully protected pages.
Admins really, really don't like to protect pages or block users if there's another way to fix a problem. I'm not going to greet vandals or trolls with candy and roses, but our whole purpose is to be free information that anyone can edit. Blocking and protection prevent that, so my block/protect hammer is a NERF hammer. :-)
If you have questions or need help, just ask. Thanks, and keep up your good work! :-) - KrakatoaKatie 00:46, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Acquia Drupal
The article Acquia Drupal has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- advertisement, fails WP:N
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. RayTalk 01:38, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
I will merge it into Drupal--Jupiter.solarsyst.comm.arm.milk.universe 14:57, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
Archiving of Talk:19-inch rack
Hi.
(Some time ago) you archived the "Dubious" section of Talk:19-inch rack when there still remains a {{dubious}} tag in the main article. I think that's a mistake. jhawkinson (talk) 02:54, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
- That is, sorry!--Jupiter.solarsyst.comm.arm.milk.universe 16:24, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to Drupal, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 00:57, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
- That was just an update edit, the section that was edited to show that DrupalCon Paris was over. I may put a notice on the Drupal article. Jupiter.solarsyst.comm.arm.milk.universe 01:03, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
Are you still planning on doing anything with this portal? If not, you may want to tag it for deletion. Zetawoof(ζ) 09:22, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
