Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Jjdgzd, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Adam and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Xenia

[edit]

I think you meant to put this template on Talk:Xenia (Greek), not Talk:Xenia (which is a disambiguation page): {{dashboard.wikiedu.org assignment | course = Wikipedia:Wiki_Ed/University_of_Missouri/CL_HUM_3250_Epic_(Spring_2016) | reviewers = [[User:Jjdgzd|Jjdgzd]] }} --Macrakis (talk) 20:34, 13 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Comments on article

[edit]
  • I'm uncertain why you got rid of the nice summary of different versions of Patroclus' parentage from the old version of the article -- you might consider restoring it. Was there something you didn't like about it? Also, there are several problems with your version of the parentage, including the form of the names (what translation of Hyginus were you using??) and the lack of *specific* citation (the overall work isn't enough -- it's like saying "The Iliad," rather than "Iliad 22.181" or even just "Iliad 22").
  • You'll also want to add more wiki links, for instance on eromenos.
