Using minor edits

Remember to mark your edits as minor only when they genuinely are (see Wikipedia:Minor edit). "The rule of thumb is that an edit of a page that is spelling corrections, formatting, and minor rearranging of text should be flagged as a 'minor edit'." Kevin_b_er 08:04, 1 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Summaries

Thanks for your contributions. I saw your change to October 26. Since you didn't leave an edit summary I had to check the info for myself (vandals love to change dates for fun). I'm glad you corrected it, but in the future it'd help even more if you could leave a little edit summary, like "wrong date", just to ease the work of the vandal-checkers.
