Teacher review

Mr. Butler i know it may be a little late for this but if you would teacher review the Royal Tern i would greatly appreciate it. --Captain kirkintosh (talk) 19:55, 26 December 2011 (UTC)

Another Teacher Review, I had Davis look it over as well. I put it up for peer review and its been up for almost 2 weeks.... I'm just curious if there is anything I can do to speed up the process. Especially with the Peer Review. Stanfordbound 14 (talk) 13:46, 27 December 2011 (UTC)

Use the power of the orange bar. Leave messages on user talk pages and ask them to go to the Peer Review. That gets results much better than relying on some "system". People appreciate direct requests and the squeeky wheel gets the oil. Good luck.TCO (talk) 14:57, 27 December 2011 (UTC)

Let yesterday be forever remembered...

We were on the front page yesterday! Wikipedia:Today's_featured_article/January_4,_2012 Vancemiller (talk · contribs · count · email) 00:38, 6 January 2012 (UTC)

Did you see the loggerhead attracted a song parody, apparently with the article as a source. Regards, SunCreator (talk) 00:48, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
Someone in class caught that yesterday and shared. Always nice to know your efforts are viewed. If you take a look at the traffic on that page I'm sure it is a significant number of viewers. Congratulations. I will email Tim and let him know. --JimmyButler (talk) 12:56, 6 January 2012 (UTC)

Will you please review Gambusia affinis? Patvac-chs (talk) 01:07, 8 January 2012 (UTC)

We're doing it

Hey Jimmy, remember me from a few years ago? We're finally doing an AP Biology Wikipedia project in Maine! Check out the new projects at: WP:APBAPST. It's far less ambitious than your project, but I've already got some good results - it's image based rather than article based. Good Times, Earthdirt (talk) 12:02, 18 May 2012 (UTC)

_  :-)

Hi There, welcome aboard. Again :) David D. (Talk) 22:40, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

And welcome (back) from me too. You did some RReally gRReat woRRk, and I'm looking forward to seeing you in action once again. I'd suggest a more random selection of articles, though, and not getting too stressed replicating all your efforts in just the one place. I find that attending to a batch of articles on English grammar is a great de-stressing strategy! Snalwibma (talk) 08:31, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

Good to make contact again. One day I'll revisit IntrotoEvo properly, read the whole thing with fresh eyes, see what it looks like, think about how it might be improved - and probably do nothing! But it's pretty good as it is. Congratulations to you, above all people. I notice that our friend A******** has made zero edits since 31 Jan. I presume it was a one-purpose sock of some sort. Meanwhile, I'm pretty busy IRL and just glancing at WP once in a while. Snalwibma (talk) 07:31, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

Glad to see you punch in ... even if it’s only a glancing blow. Cheers! Wassupwestcoast (talk) 02:44, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

Hey, I couldn't find anywhere to put this so I'm just dumping this here. Your initiative is so very cool and I have immense respect for the idea. Not only is it fantastic in giving back contributions and teaching people to share knowledge in a community collaborative environment, but you're teaching the scientific method (fact checking, writing .etc). Good job Genjix (talk) 17:13, 21 August 2010 (UTC)

Random question

I have been wondering what happened to the effort of wikipedia to get schools involved because it seemed like a great idea at the time and led to some great content but it seems to have died out. I remember you had a lot of success in creating great articles with your high school class, and I was wondering your thoughts on why that effort to get educators, universities, and high schools involved didn't go better. Also, thanks for all your hard work to make this a better encyclopedia and for sharing knowledge. I really appreciate it! Remember (talk) 11:31, 21 September 2021 (UTC)

I responded to you on my talk page (talk) since you archived this. Long story short: Thanks for your efforts and your explanation. Remember (talk) 16:06, 15 December 2021 (UTC)
