Hello Jimet! It is great to hear from you!
I was beginning to think that we'd lose you as a potential teammate. You've certainly got the knack for sound editting, and to say you haven't had much contact with the Wikipedia project and community, you've done a really fine job of Bury!
Certainly the WP:GM team can help. We have around 40 editors on board now. Successes of the project (articles we've acheived featured article status for) include Manchester, Oldham, Altrincham and Shaw and Crompton. Stretford is also a current featured article candidate (FA being recognised as amongst the finest work on Wikipedia). Taking a look through these may give you pointers as to what you might want to include in Bury going forwards. Also there is a guideline avaliable for writing about settlements: WP:UKCITIES. These are really helpful!
You're clearly quite new to Wikipedia, but if there's anything I can do to help, please, feel free to contact me again on my talk page. That includes any questions you might have of course!... The Greater Manchester WikiProject has a talk page too at WT:GM.
Anyway, it is great to hear from you. I wish you luck until we speak again. Feel free to take a look at the WP:GM project page. If you want to add your name to the participant list, but are struggling with it, give me or WT:GM a shout and we'll sort something out! I hope all is well, and again, welcome! -- Jza84 · (talk) 22:05, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You're doing some good - and much needded - work on Metropolitan Borough of Bury‎. One note though, the demography change table you added links to the Stockport page of 'Vision of Britain'. Keep up the effort and happy editing :) Nev1 (talk) 23:50, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
