Hello, Ji eun Bang and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students.
If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}}

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.
Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}}
on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.
We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished!
re:Hello Piotr. I'm ji eun Bang.
[edit]Good idea, but there is already an article on Fashion in Korea (although it does not have a Korean translation yet). So if you want to make an article on English Wikipedia we have to look for a different topic (but you can expand it for extra credit, you can also translate it to Korean either for extra credit or as half of the main project too). PS. Please see how to WP:SIGN your posts correctly for the next time you post on talk. Good luck! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 01:12, 13 April 2020 (UTC)

re: I'm ji eun Bang. I'm setting a topic for the article.
[edit]Those are all very nice topics. Out of those, translating ko:대한민국의 대학 입시 제도 might be the easiest, but to complete the project, we also need to find references for all the content we add to English Wikipedia. The Korean article is unfortunately unreferenced, so in addition to translating you will also have to find sources. You can also add them to the Korean Wikipedia article for extra credit. Good luck. PS. Please join the dashboard page as I asked above, and please remember to WP:SIGN your posts when you leave talk page messages. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 01:47, 23 April 2020 (UTC)
Weekly 10 edits
[edit]Please make sure to make your weekly 10 edits for the Collective Intelligence class. As a reminder, if you miss your weekly edits, your score will be lowered by 1 point. But don't worry, you can easily get extra points by making extra edits for extra credit (each 10 extra edits will add another point to your score on average). --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 10:39, 28 April 2020 (UTC)
Expanding Fandom culture in South Korea
[edit]Good start expanding the article. Your outline should contain information on what you will write about. Regarding your recent edits, remember that references should be at the end, not beginning, of a sentence, so please move them to the correct location. Also, please make sure each reference contains the author's name, title, publisher name (journal/website), date, and such. Also, please make sure the links (URL) are working, right now I tried and couldn't open neither [2] nor [3]. Please try to fix them. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 09:12, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
Hello I'm Seungju Lee - Collective intelligence student Feedback
[edit]Hello, I'm Seungju Lee from the Department of Journalism and Broadcasting who is taking a Collective intelligence class. I enjoyed reading the article. As a fan of an idol group, I had a lot of things that I could relate to. Also, it was a good article to learn about history as a new fan. It was impressive to know not only Korean fandom but also foreign cases. For me, who could only feel the good things about my fandom activities, I was happy to know the negative aspects of fandom through this post. I thought it would be better if this post added to the conflict between the fandom and the fandom's own goods produced with various characteristics of their idols. Nice articles! - Dayoung Ryu
[edit]I'd like your articles about fandom culture in Korea, because I did not know about this kind of culture and sometimes I have not understood what did my friends say, about their favorite idols. I reviewed it, and have some ideas to develop your articles: 1) What do you think about add some words used between fans? For example, 공방을 뛰다 is quite difficult to understand. What is 대포? What is I think these words are so important part of fandom culture. 2) This is s just idea, and I know it may be hard to research, but why don't you write down some special goods of idols? Such as 텀플러, 스티커, 포토 카드...etc.
I think your article is nice and I hope it gonna be flourish. Thank you! Dayoungryu11 (talk) 11:29, 24 May 2020 (UTC)
Hello! This is Hyo jung Park from Collective Intelligence class.
[edit]I was surprised that there is no article on the subject, because I thought the K-pop fandom was somewhat unique. I think it's great that you chose this topic. While reading the article, I thought it would be nice to briefly mention the huge fandom such as Yellow Kiss and Club H.O.T. Also, as far as I know, musical fandom is quite big, so I wonder if you have any intention to mention it. I read your article interestingly because it is a topic that I am interested in. I'm looking forward to the completion! Phj2015 (talk) 12:19, 24 May 2020 (UTC)
Feedback on your project for Collective Intelligence class
[edit]I am afraid I cannot provide any feedback on your project since you have not done any edits on it this semester aside from the ones I already discussed above. You also seem not to be doing any of our required 10 weekly edits. Please note that this is likely to affect your grade significantly.~But there are still ~3 weeks remaining in our class, and you can try to do extra credit edits to compensate. I do recommend, however, that you start ASAP. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 06:31, 4 June 2020 (UTC)
- Good job expanding Fandom culture in South Korea. Here are things to fix/improve:
- can you add any images from Wikimedia Commons, or your own (for extra credit)?
- references should not be added to section headings, but to the end of paragraphs/sentences. Please move them accordingly
- Please ensure that all references in the article are formatted correctly. In particular, please make sure they have the author, date, and English title in addition to the Korean one. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 08:17, 22 June 2020 (UTC)

Korean Wikipedia is not English Wikiepdia
[edit]Dear Ji eun, looking at the above, I think you may be confusing Korean Wikipedia with English Wikipedia. Please submit Korean-language articles to the Korean Wikipedia, not English. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 08:38, 2 November 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Ji-eun, this is Keebaek Lee from 'Globalization Sociology'
I saw your article 'COVID-19 전염병이 환경에 미치는 영향' on professor Konieczny's blog and thought it would be interesting to read.
I've just read the article and the contents are interesting indeed.
I didn't know how this COVID-19 situation could affect on so many things that happen around us.
However, there are some few thing that you might want to check when making another article next time.
Personally, I thought there are some minor subject that are inappropriate on your article, such as 'cycling' or 'psychology'.
I don't see any point what those two have to do with environment issues.
Also, you might want to change some orders because I think some of them are not well-organized.
For example, I think 'Carbon emission' should be under 'Air condition' part.
Last, I think Peru jungle's pollution story is off the track. It is an example of COVID-19's BAD impact on environment which is not what your article is about.
Anyways, other than that, great work. Hope you all the best.
Good luck and have a great winter vacation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Keebs100 (talk • contribs) 14:00, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
