Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Jharris327, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Vidgo, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content protocols, and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.
Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are struck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Speedy deletion nomination of Vidgo
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Vidgo, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Vidgo. (See section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) If a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. ~ Amkgp ✉ 17:54, 8 June 2020 (UTC)
Tip
[edit]Hi, I noticed your question at Liz's talk page. When you want to do a new article, I highly recommend creating it in your user space (or in draft space) so you can work on it in peace and at your leisure. Then, when it's done, you just move it to mainspace. All you have to do is add a slash mark and new page name to the URL from your user name; for example; https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User:Jharris327/New article title. I do all of my articles that way, and only put them in mainspace when they're complete and ready for the public. Happy editing! Schazjmd (talk) 20:42, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you for the advice, Schazjmd; I'll be sure to do that going forward!
