Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Dance International requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 15:59, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Austin Ballroom Dance Festival requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 16:05, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Austin Ballroom Dance Festival has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Advert for a non-notable festival. Can't find substantial coverage by WP:reliable sources.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. • Gene93k (talk) 22:58, 22 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Grace_Amy_Sharing_Model_Picture.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Closedmouth (talk) 11:47, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Grace Amy Sharing Model Picture.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Grace Amy Sharing Model Picture.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 07:07, 5 February 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Lәo(βǃʘʘɱ) 07:07, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Source of this file is from the Owner: Grace Sharington. Jeteye (talk) 03:23, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just to let you know, this article you've created is in dire need of sourcing per WP:V. With the article's rather promotional tone and the lack of sourcing (including my attempts to find sources online turning up nothing) despite such an enormous amount of content, I'm of the mind to pair the article down to the subject's basic notability per WP:NPF. Can you offer sourcing that complies with WP:RS?  Mbinebri  talk ← 23:25, 9 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Jeteye. You have new messages at Mbinebri's talk page.

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Dremana Band Photo.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 22:12, 11 February 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 22:12, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Grace Sharington has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Heavily promotional, completely unsourced, deceptively written (eg, subject did not compete in Miss America pageant, but was runnerup atstate level; subject did not appear in Playboy, but in much less prestigious mag from that publisher). No indication the subject actually meets the GNG or any specialized guideline. Article creator appears to be promotional/SPA.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

On the talk, I proposed stubifying the article, basically meaning the content would be paired down to the essential info due to various issues, in this case mostly verifiability. I respect that you've put a lot of work into the article, but as of the moment, I think this would be the best way to go to maintain certain Wiki policies. Feel free to comment!  Mbinebri  talk ← 01:04, 3 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Template removal

[edit]

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Grace Sharington, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. You clearly need to become familiar with the meaning of the templates and the policies and guidelines they refer to. Hullaballoo Wolfowitz (talk) 17:42, 3 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, you are correct:

Orphan page: I had added new links from Facebook, www.gracesharington.com and some other links Advertisement: This Template was removed back in February as a rewrite was done taking out the "promotional" nature of the page Notability: Added references at bottom of the page Biographical: Added citations at the bottom of the page

I hope this helps? Sorry for not following protocols! Warmly Jeteye (talk) 18:02, 3 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:O Mio Babbino Caro.ogg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:O Mio Babbino Caro.ogg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 05:05, 18 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, removed the examples you added since they were not sourced and were rather poorly formatted like a wall of text. If you want to add them back please use a source pers each and make them in list form.★Trekker (talk) 16:04, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Well Beyond Care is a unique company as it is the only Company in the US that helps with transitional care and is disintermediating the private duty industry. It should not be deleted, and I have not completed its profile yet. Jeteye (talk) 23:21, 2 June 2018 (UTC)Jeteye[reply]
