What motivates you?

[edit]

So, I assume you're a sock of CCCC.

I'm curious to know what motivates you to continue to add the information about lions in Cat Creek. It's beyond a normal level of trying to hoax people on the Internet. I am not trying to be aggressive at all about this, I am truly just curious. (Side note to blocking admin: I'd like to know this, so I would like to leave talk page access open, at least temporarily.) MereTechnicality 05:19, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, this is a sock of CCCC (though now I suppose this whole drawer of socks will be burned... c'est la vie).
I suppose, apart from the fact that there actually are lions in Cat Creek (The Council has been there before), I suppose it is like any other game of cat-and-lion. One side fighting that there are lions in Cat Creek, and the other side denying the truth. While you all are devising edit filters and IP blocks, we are trying to find fresh IP’s and stay under the radar. There are lions in Cat Creek, despite what Bush Boy may say. No amount of these edit filters or page protection will be able to stop The Council from prevailing in its goal to finally achieve the truth in Cat Creek.
It's time to start building the sockfarm for the 5th anniversary... Extended-confirmed protection, eh? Shouldn't be too much of an issue....

I really, genuinely, want to ask you a favor. Please, please, stop doing this. I'm tired and I need to go to bed, in more ways than one. If you're going to add information, then provide a reliable source. Saying you've been there doesn't count (see WP:No original research). You can keep cropping back up and we'll keep playing whack-a-mole until you run out of sockpuppets. I may be tired, but I'm not the only one working on this project.

We will provide as many sources as you require as evidence that there are lions in Cat Creek. In fact, we have already provided a very nice book my Marie Winthroppe written at the turn of the century. Bush Boy scoffed. Not very nice of him. Happy to provide it again on the CC talkpage. I don't know why there has been such admin-osity (haha get it) towards this plain and simple fact. First thing tomorrow, The Council will place a list of sources on the Cat Creek talk page, so that the admins may review them. I think y'all will be satisfied.
As far as exhausting our sockpuppets? Unlikely. It may seem like a whack-a-mole at times, but we still have a few sneaky edits out there that haven't been discovered yet. The Lions in Cat Creek will continue to live on! Jesus is Coming (talk) 06:07, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Personal attacks aside, you need to learn the difference between an African lion and a mountain lion, as the latter is what your claimed source is referring to. - The Bushranger One ping only 07:33, 1 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
