Editor's Note

[edit]

What is the purpose of the Editor's note? The editor's note at the end of your drafts points toward paid publishing which is a violation of Wikipedia Guidelines.111.92.133.125 (talk) 08:23, 24 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I was in the process of verifying notability for the article. The drafts are not eligible as I didn't found any credible sources. I will be removing these drafts. JessicaBruton (talk) 19:23, 26 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Marcela Iglesias moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Marcela Iglesias, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. – Pbrks (t • c) 02:59, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank You for your response. I will definitely improve the draft and submit it with new references. Can you please tell me why The Sun, Daily Mail and others are not considered as a credible source? I thought they were good secondary sources? JessicaBruton (talk) 16:55, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

AfC notification: Draft:Marcela Iglesias has a new comment

[edit]
I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:Marcela Iglesias. Thanks! – Pbrks (t • c) 03:03, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

June 2022

[edit]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:

  • Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
  • State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
  • Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.

Request reason:

I think I was blocked mistakenly by administrator GeneralNotability who linked me to the account CharmenderDeol. I have no connections with the user or the group. As far as COI goes, I have gone through the terms and conditions of paid editing and didn't knew that disclosures were necessary. In the future drafts, I will be careful to link my affiliations, employer, client, and payments. I started fairly new on Wikipedia so I'm still in the learning phase. I will add all the affiliations to my user and talk page. Please consider my block appeal as this will not be repeated. Thank You

Decline reason:

You're still in the learning phase but taking jobs professionally? That doesn't make sense. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 02:16, 14 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
