Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Dcbench06.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 03:46, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate images uploaded

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:N198603420 1490.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Dcbench06.jpg. The copy called Image:Dcbench06.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. License tagging for Image:Parkbench1.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Parkbench1.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 04:06, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Almost Famous Music Entertainment, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD g11.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. carelesshx talk 04:10, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Dave Cenaffra

[edit]

Dave Cenaffra, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Dave Cenaffra satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dave Cenaffra and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Dave Cenaffra during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Bfigura (talk) 05:00, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Kiyanu Kim, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.sellaband.com/believer/keanu. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 05:04, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia has very strict rules governing copyrighted material. You can't copy/paste information from other sites, regardless of whether or not you know the person, unless you've provided proof of legal permission to the Wikimedia Foundation. If you don't want it to be deleted, you'll need to rewrite it from scratch. (Seriously, otherwise it'll be deleted). Best, --Bfigura (talk) 05:11, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just a note, from scratch means just that. If you only change a few words here and there, the article will still get axed. (Note, I'm not trying to be mean or anything, I just want you to be aware of the policy, so the article doesn't get deleted out from under you). Best, --Bfigura (talk) 05:23, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have removed the {{db-copyvio}} tag as it is now far enough away from the source to not be a copyright violation. However, the article should have references and the subject may not be notable. I suggest you look at the notability guidelines for musicians. I'll look at it again in a day or so. -- Flyguy649 talk contribs 05:50, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article Katie Agresta has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Long unreferenced non-notable biography of vocal trainer with no significant coverage in secondary sources

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Sadads (talk) 23:35, 21 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
