Hi, I noticed the conversation going on at DangerousPanda's talk page and thought I would just offer some advice. What you are seeing is Wikipedia's generally unfriendly attitude toward people who are trying to use it as a platform for promotion, advertising, "getting the company out there", whatever you want to call it. It's exceedingly difficult to write neutrally about a company you're involved with, or a company who's paying you to write their Wikipedia article in general. It's better if you don't do it. If you're here to improve the encyclopedia in general (which would be evidenced by your editing a wide variety of articles) you are welcome and we will do everything we can to help you. If you are here to get VacationFutures on Wikipedia, you are not so welcome, and you might be better off finding something else to do. --Spike Wilbury (talk) 18:35, 18 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Spike - Thank you for sharing. That is helpful to know. Take care. Jenren4prez (talk) 11:53, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Vacation rental. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 14:15, 30 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Bonadea - Sorry. I was not sure if that sentence crossed the line or not. I apologize. If the link to VacationFutures is taken out, would the rest of the sentence be ok? i.e., "Such arrangements can be made directly with vacation rental managers, or through marketplaces." Thank you for the feedback Jenren4prez (talk) 14:42, 30 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
