www.americanmastiff.org

[edit]

If my site isn't allowed then the American Mastiff Family site shouldn't be allowed. It is considered a personal website too. I went ahead and deleted it.

For what it's worth, if you look at the history on the AM wikipedia site, your "friend" Mastiffowner has already been chastised for posting negative information on wikipedia about the AM's. Not to mention that she bashes our breed on her own site. AMowner (talk) 22:46, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

She doesn't bash the "breed" on am.org site and there is no reference to her site through mine. Please go through my site and see for yourself.Jenny327 (talk) 22:57, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Look, I am not lookig for a fight, and for the record, I tried to add both sites back to the reference page today because I thought it was fair to have them both. They were both removed within 5 minutes. There are no winners here AMowner (talk) 23:10, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I noticed you tried to put back both sites and that was very fair of you. I guess between all the revisions the Wiki people were forced to see what the problem was. Like I said before, if the am.org site was never deleted, this probably never would have happened. I would never had deleted the family link regardless how I viewed their moderators/administrators. I am not that kind of person. But since Wiki has rules, we should follow them and respect their decisions.Jenny327 (talk) 01:20, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, but what can we do to make this site better? That is my ultimate goal here. AMowner (talk) 11:17, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That is a good question. The only site they seem to allow is the AMBC site. So if we can get more information on that site, we could put more information on this site. Or we can petition that we have valid websites and it states in their rules "If the link is to a relevant and informative site that should otherwise be included, please consider mentioning it on the talk page and let neutral and independent Wikipedia editors decide whether to add it." So any independent Wiki editors please review these two sites and see if the should be included on the "external links" American Mastiff Website and American Mastiff FamilyJenny327 (talk) 13:55, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I posted the same request on the dispute page. Hopefully we will get a response either way. AMowner (talk) 20:06, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately they still see the sites as "Link normally to be avoided" There is really nothing more we can do, but best of luck if you think of something else. :-) Jenny327 (talk) 20:30, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. Best of Luck to you too. AMowner (talk) 17:52, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
