Speedy deletion of Troppo Architects

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Troppo Architects, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Your articles on "Troppo Architects"

[edit]

I have no vested interest here other than keeping spam off of Wikipedia. You are strongly encouraged to see WP:NPA as well as WP:Business' FAQ and WP:COI.

As to not respond on a soon-to-be-deleted page: the article has to be written from a neutral point of view and give no undue weight to any part of the topic. While it is certainly find for you to discuss what the company does, what awards have been given and whatnot, the tone of the article reads like an advertisement for the company, which is not acceptable for inclusion in Wikipedia. Furthermore, if you are part of this company, then it is recommended that you do not write an article about the company per Wikipedia's conflict of interest policy. If you wish to ask for the page to be created, follow the procedure at Wikipedia:Requested articles. Cheers, Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 06:40, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Just noting that if you can provide independent (secondary sources), reliable, verifiable sources for the awards this company has received or other forms of acclaim, then it can better assert its notability and pass Wikipedia's notability guideline on corporations, which would allow it to retain an article on Wikipedia. Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 06:45, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading Image:Bowali.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Polly (Parrot) 18:41, 23 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
