Request reason:

I never did anything. Why am I blocked? I just went to make an account, and I was informed I couldn't because my ip was blocked. I never did anything, so it makes no sense. The blocker said I had repeatedly vandalized, however I've done NOTHING on Wikipedia accept view it. I have no clue WHY I'm blocked, but please unblock me!

Accept reason:

Sorry for the delay. As I said below, the network range you're on is being heavily abused by someone creating multiple accounts in violation of policy. In response to that, we've blocked the range from all editing. Since you do not appear to be related to them, I have granted your account an IP Block Exemption which will allow you to edit in spite of this block. Please note that this is considered to be an administrative-level right, and is only granted to users on an at-need basis. Misuse will result in immediate removal; the flag will also be removed once it is no longer necessary. For more information, please see this policy page about the flag. Neither have we. You have created an account - this is it. This account is not blocked as far as we can tell. We cannot tie a user to an IP address. We need you to copy the message you get when you try to edit.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 20:21, 23 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This Is what i got when I went to create an account (btw, I had to go to a different ip area to make an account):

Account creation from this IP address (71.255.174.156) has been temporarily restricted. This is probably due to persistent vandalism from the IP address you are editing from, which may be shared by many people if you are connected to the Internet via a proxy server (used by most schools and corporations and some Internet service providers) or dial-up access.

To enquire about the block or request that an account be created for you, please send an e-mail to unblock-en-llists.wikimedia.org with details of your IP address, the administrator who blocked you and the reason they gave (this information is available below). If you are requesting an account, please include in your e-mail the account name you wish. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to any innocent users. Information about the block: account creation from this IP address (71.255.174.156) was blocked by MuZemike, who gave the reason {{checkuserblock}}.

Reviewing, please hold. Hersfold (t/a/c) 22:26, 23 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Could I ask you to try editing from something other than a mobile device? The range you are attempting to edit from has been heavily abused, and it appears as though you have access to other computers. Hersfold (t/a/c) 22:33, 23 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

JelvinJS7: ok then. here you go!

IPBE Removed

[edit]

Hello, it appears as though the block that was affecting your network range has expired. As a result, your IP Block Exemption is no longer necessary, and I have removed it from your account in accordance with policy. You should still be able to edit normally. If you encounter any difficulty editing, please request unblocking again. Thank you, and happy editing. Hersfold (t/a/c) 04:44, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page American Pie (song) has been reverted.
Your edit here to American Pie (song) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.youtube.com/user/LaughPong, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1p-TV4jaCMk, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1p-TV4jaCMk) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page.
