Hi, could you please explain your concerns? Thanks! JTRH (talk) 06:55, 4 June 2020 (UTC)

@JTRH: Hi, and thanks for asking. My concern was based on this edit and these log entries. Perhaps I was too hasty, as Zacharvey has yet to edit this project.   — Jeff G. ツ 12:47, 4 June 2020 (UTC)

CWO

Hi Jeff

I was updating the CWO page with factual information, following the AGM in March (Treasurer, Deputy etc). I have not altered other content or put any kind of bias into my editing (I am aware of my responsibilities; it is not something I would do).

The issue I had, for which I raised a report, was that I was unable to upload the new logo (I created the logo and I have the authority to do this). I will try again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Millns (talkcontribs) 17:18, 7 June 2020 (UTC)

@Jeff G.: HELP

@Jeff G.: HELP

I realised that I did not sign my previous message and I do not know how strict that is, so here goes again.

I have made: 1. factual changes to the CWO page following the AGM. You can verify the accuracy here 2. I and I am trying to upload the new logo, which I have authority to do (I created it)

I ask: 1. Please do not reject my factual corrections on this page 2. Advise me how to upload the logo directly (the .JPG and then .BMP files were rejected, the latter was 5MB+) so it is not rejected

Thank you Millns (talk) 17:41, 7 June 2020 (UTC)Rushi

@Millns: Your latest attempted crosswiki upload of c:File:CWOLOGO-LINE.jpg (logged here) was 411,560 bytes and 2278x622=1,416,916 pixels, so it exceeded our 50KB (exactly 50,000 bytes) minimum limit, but at 28% it fell short of our 5MP (exactly 50,000,000 pixels) minimum limit (in c:Special:AbuseFilter/153). I don't see a record of an attempted upload of a BMP file. That 5MP minimum limit doesn't apply to uploads with our Commons Upload Wizard, which are limited by c:Special:AbuseFilter/156.   — Jeff G. ツ 13:16, 8 June 2020 (UTC)

Deleted Article

Hello Jeff or talk page stalker,

I have looked up the deletion thread and found that it merits a challenge, contest, and hopefully the reinstating of either my entry or the one from 2015 of which I only have a recollection of and would like a copy of it. Please direct me to the right place to get it.

I copied and pasted the bit about the base to which the original article got deleted:

"Seems like a pretty obvious Keep. ...Just kidding. Delete - so non-notable that I don't even know the movies. - New Age Retro Hippie (talk)(contributions) 20:41, 25 March 2015 (UTC)"

Source: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rona De Ricci.

1.The previous bit records editor Wgolf (see link) to either mock or question: “Actress who has an amazing 2 roles and has not been in anything since”. This seems to be the base of his imitative to delete the article (2015). I challenge the implication that imposes a continuous (future) work as criteria to value previous work. I could list people that have produced one public work and stopped (reasons abound), and yet their mention is justified, including in Wikipedia. However, I will pick one to simplify the example: author J.D. Salinger.

The editor, New Age Retro Hippie, assumes that if he (even!) doesn’t know the movie than it’s non-notable. How closed-minded and ignorant. Will information and knowledge be limited to whether one person knows of a certain fact, opinion, concept, etc. to be open to all or not?

2. Rona De Ricci's performances in those films produced interest and positive reviews, notably an article about her and another actress, which was included as a reference in both the original article (not mine) in 2015 and mine. Please see the entries.

3. Finally, I would like to ask this: if both films merited a Wikipedia entry and are built on the cast's work, Why the actress in the female starring role doesn't merit an entry? After all, she is what made that film (along with the other actors, etc.) 'notable". How come the parts don't make up the sum?

I uploaded a JPG image of the actress along with the entry yesterday (June 8th, 2020). I have the copyright, and it is of professional quality. The entry by itself is short and simple (as recommended) and consists only of information.

I used the form indicated to retrieve a copy of my entry, following the instructions but was unsuccessful. Could you please help? Also, I would like to see a copy of the original entry from 2015 (again, not mine). It has apparently triggered the speedy delete of my entry.

Thanks, Rootview (talk) 19:43, 9 June 2020 (UTC) Rootview

@Rootview: I suggest you post at WP:REFUND about the above, mentioning Rona De Ricci, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rona De Ricci, and User:Rootview/sandbox (unless Michig or Fastily has a change of heart).   — Jeff G. ツ 01:11, 10 June 2020 (UTC)

Hi Jeff G.

I do not believe I have a conflict of interest per Jimmy O'Hara, Minnesota Boxing Commissioner. I am not nor do I work for or represent the subject of the article. I have or will cite authority for every statement made. Moreover, I will send future edits on this subject to you for pre-approval if that is okay. Thank you again!

@Sports1957: Let's confine this discussion to your user talk page.   — Jeff G. ツ 02:58, 10 June 2020 (UTC)

the edit change.

the reason why I removed the Nancy thing on the Lady & the Tramp article is because Zendeya wasn't in Lady & the Tramp 2. nor, was there a character named Nancy in the film. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.92.117.204 (talk) 03:39, 10 June 2020 (UTC)

Sorry, that info was unsourced, so i removed it again.   — Jeff G. ツ 04:02, 10 June 2020 (UTC)

follow up on your suggestion in regard to "Deleted Article"

Hi Jeff,

I had forward my inquiry to WP: REFUND, per your suggestion, and after posting it I got to read some of the responses to a case similar to mine, and so here is my next question to you: shouldn't I forward it to DRV (Delete Review) instead?

Thanks, Rootview (talk) 16:01, 10 June 2020 (UTC) Rooview

@Rootview: Sorry, I'm not sure, as it's been a long time since I participated on either page.   — Jeff G. ツ 17:19, 10 June 2020 (UTC)

Unlike the talk here, I cannot find a copy of the inquiry I made on WP: REFUND. Isn't it suppose to be all publicly published? Also, I have placed the same with the Delete Review and It is not showing either. How can I have a record of my inquires on those posts? Feels like a bureaucratic runaround and a graveyard-fun!...well, thanks for the big wellcome! I can't even have a record of the entry I made here 2 days ago, to demonstrate it lacks any of the hot bottoms (tone, advertisement, offensive language, praise etc. etc.) that is listed on the instructions.

Rootview (talk) 19:48, 10 June 2020 (UTC)

@Rootview: Please see Wikipedia:Requests for undeletion#Rona De Ricci, User:Rootview/sandbox (not done), Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2020 June 10#Rona De Ricci (reformatted), and special:contribs/Rootview (your contributions). Also, you don't need a new section for every post here.   — Jeff G. ツ 20:40, 10 June 2020 (UTC)

Wikipedia page of Tom Herck

Hi Jeff,

I created the contribution on Tom Herck. The page about Tom Herck is submitted in March this year. I am still waiting for feedback. You asked me my relationship to Tom Herck. I sometimes write articles about the artist. However I was not payed for the creation of his Wikipedia page. How can we proceed. Tom really deserves his Wikipedia page I kept the article neutral. Please give us some advise on how to proceed. I don know any editors or people who have experience with Wikipedia so I have no clue who to ask for help. Can you also send me feedback if there are things we need to change/edit on his page?

Thanks and kind regards, Lara — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tom Herck (talkcontribs) 15:35, 11 June 2020 (UTC)

@Tom Herck and Lara van Oudenaarde: Do you mean Draft:Tom Herck, User:Tom Herck, or User:Tom Herck/sandbox? How do you know each other?   — Jeff G. ツ 17:16, 11 June 2020 (UTC)

response to your question regarding Tom Herck

Hi Jeff,

I mean user Tom Herck. I am talking about this contribution: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User:Tom_Herck

Please let me know how we can proceed now. Thanks for your help and kind regards, LaraTom Herck (talk) 08:36, 12 June 2020 (UTC)

@Tom Herck and Lara van Oudenaarde: For starters, It needs references like Draft:Tom Herck has (see WP:REFB). Also, no one needs a new section for every related post here. If you don't answer my question about how you two know each other (and who has what tasks in editing this biography) in your next post here, I will be forced to report you to WP:SPI.   — Jeff G. ツ 12:07, 12 June 2020 (UTC)

Hello Jeff G./Archives/2020,

Your help can make a difference

NPP Sorting can be a great way to find pages needing new page patrolling that match your strengths and interests. Using ORES, it divides articles into topics such as Literature or Chemistry and on Geography. Take a look and see if you can find time to patrol a couple pages a day. With over 10,000 pages in the queue, the highest it's been since ACPERM, your help could really make a difference.

ESKOH

Hello Jeff, thanks for reviewing my submission for my artist biography for ESKOH. I did not mean to soapbox, advertise, or promote and apologize for making it seem so to you. Furthermore, I made sure to flag the conflict of interest before my submission. I am a recording artist eskoh.com and I was instructed by my manager Jimmy Cozier who has had a wikipedia page for several years that I should have one set up because media companies such as Condé Nast requested I have a Wikipedia presence before their publications begin my press dates.

Happy to send you more information to support who I am and what I am doing as ESKOH for a fact-based article.

Please let me know how you recommend I have an unbiased article on myself on Wikipedia. My manager is even open to hiring an expert if needed. Thank you for your guidance on this matter.

Hope you and your family are safe and sound amidst recent events.

Best Regards, ESKOH — Preceding unsigned comment added by TRULYESKOH (talkcontribs) 20:22, 28 June 2020 (UTC)

@TRULYESKOH: Please read WP:AUTO, WP:NMUSIC, WP:MFA, WP:42, and WP:REFB. Readers will want to know detailed facts, like your name, where and when you were born, when you appeared on Showtime at the Apollo, the endorsement of “Beautiful Lady” (2017), and the chart performances of that track and "Do Rite".   — Jeff G. ツ 12:32, 29 June 2020 (UTC)

Jeff! you're my only hope

Hello Jeff, I hope all is well. It's taken me sometime to figure out how to message you but I think I got it down. I just wanted to kindly ask if you would help me remove my page. I tried to do it myself but it seems I cant do it without your help! Please help me permanently delete, I would be so so appreciative. Thank you. Respectfully,

ElliottSqosm (talk) 18:33, 29 June 2020 (UTC)

@Sqosm:  Done, but you need to stop with the unexplained page blanking and the sockpuppetry.   — Jeff G. ツ 19:06, 29 June 2020 (UTC)
