Have you read User talk:41.213.63.246? This first edit was severely biased against Zionists. This second edit was an attack on all people at Wikipedia. This third edit was a personal attack on Uncle Dick. Also, your use of all caps does not help (is your caps lock key stuck?)   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 19:48, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

Jeff Weaver

Jeff G.; Please review my edit to Jeff Weaver, your reversion of that edit, and your warning to me. The edit was an appropriate clean-up of misplaced content. I hope you will reconsider and revert the warning, which suggested the possibility of an impending block. Thank you, 99.168.84.195 (talk) 23:31, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

Mr. Weaver appears to have been a member of the World Series Champion St. Louis Cardinals in 2006 (as the winning pitcher of the final game), so why remove "*World Series Champion (2006)" with the insufficiently descriptive Edit Summary "clean up", rather than moving and/or unlinking it?   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 00:18, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
The issue is that my edit, which was indeed a clean-up of errant content (and a redlink as well), was reverted and I received a delete3 warning. My hope is that you will reconsider the warning. Thank you again, JNW (talk) 00:36, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
 Done with this edit.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 00:44, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

Ostiari1

This is a genuinely new editor who doesn't understand image policy or how to add them. It would be better to help them contribute than to send alarming warnings; they've contributed useful information in this article. Acroterion (talk) 01:06, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the advice.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 02:59, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

Jerk

Why do you interfere? I'm trying to reach an amicable conclusion to a personal difference with Ben Schumin. I've been trying for over a year and a half. Don't be a dick. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.45.222.36 (talk) 13:07, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

"fatass" is not amicable. Neither is "Jerk".   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 02:38, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

Vandalism Tag

Hey, I saw your speedy deletion tag for vandalism at File:Kweisi Mfume.jpg. I don't see any obvious vandalism so I wanted to double-check to see if you tagged it for something that I might have missed. The image is hosted on commons so it could have just been some petty vandalism that was transcluded here. Icestorm815Talk 15:20, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

It appears that you figured it out 6 minutes later per this log.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 01:59, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

Karheim mess

Hi, Jeff. It looks like we've got a puppetmaster and a couple of socks working very hard to keep Karheim from being deleted. FYI, see the SPI. —Scheinwerfermann T·C01:21, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the alert, I've added my 2¢ to the SPI.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 02:50, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
The saga continues in my nomination of the userfied article as MFD. Got another tuppence to toss in? —Scheinwerfermann T·C00:39, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
 Done, thanks for the alert.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 01:31, 5 May 2009 (UTC)

Vandalizing...your own article? Huh... 0_o ViperSnake151  Talk  13:05, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

Yes, unexplained deletion of content. And that user doesn't OWN that article.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 18:01, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
In my mind I think he's trying to make a good-faith attempt at removing the how-to content I prod'd it for. ViperSnake151  Talk  01:27, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
The whole article is still a how-to guide that can help people cheat in a game that teaches people how to cheat in school, and should be deleted as a WP:GAMEGUIDE.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 05:13, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

Inquiry

That was not an attack. Please be reasonable. One wonders why far more offensive (in both grammar and content) comments by other users have not been removed if your definition of "attack" is so broad. --160.39.177.5 (talk) 05:43, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

To me, "fascist" is a personal attack. I also revert and warn about more offensive behavior.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 05:48, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

Wrong Wollumbin

Hello Jeff G.

The information about Mt Warning is false. Australian Geoscience Placenames Registry officially shows my families Mountain is Wollumbin and Mt Warning is not.

Have just been sent a final warning for trying to correct this false info, and repeated messages stating that we have vandalised, while tying to correct this false site.

Please read your user talk page.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 06:58, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

Hi, Jeff. I've uploaded the user's image at Images for Upload, here: File:Pangkor Airport Runway.jpg (this was the one with the fence in front of it). I also tried my best at removing said fence, and File:Pangkor Airport Runway retouched.jpg was the result of that. As of writing time, it's not done, but I think that the part I did complete looks alright. And you said it couldn't be done! The Earwig (Talk | Contributions) 16:21, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

Yes, the part you did complete looks alright (good job so far), but is that all there is to the airport, one airstrip and no buildings? Thanks.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 21:55, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
I haven't a clue, to tell you the truth. It's simply an Images for Upload request; all I know about that airport comes from the image and a quick glance at the page itself. The Earwig (Talk | Contributions) 03:19, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

Hi, I was 76.195.220.65

(talk) You recently gave me a message on my IP user page. If you read into issue, particularly the talk page, you will see that I am the one who is trying to be neutral and not introduce bias into the article. The editors want to put the minority definition, 2 internet sources, of homophobia as the main one, while I gave as much as 4 different published text sources to support my claim that homophobia without irrational is the dominant definition among dictionaries. I tried to argue with them on the talk page to change the consensus as the policy says, however, that policy doesn't says anywhere about what should one do if other editors lost the argument but still refuse to allow change by not responding and not listening. Please advise me on what should I do. Please read the "homophobia" talk page under the tab "irrational fear" to understand my situation, if you haven't already. Thank you. 76.199.6.227 (talk) 11:44, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

I have replied at Talk:Homophobia#.22Irrational_Fear.3F.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 22:05, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
What you said only evaded the issue.76.247.164.55 (talk) 23:43, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
I replied there again.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 00:09, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

Would you be interested in joining this project? We need more editors who share a burden for rescuing promising editors who have gotten into serious trouble because of behavioral issues. IF (a fundamental condition!) they are interested in reforming and adapting to our standards of conduct, and are also willing to abide by our policies and guidelines, rather than constantly subverting them, we can offer to help them return to Wikipedia as constructive editors. Right now many if not most users who have been banned are still active here, but they are here as socks or anonymous IPs who may or may not be constructive. We should offer them a proper way to return. If you think this is a good idea, please join us. Abce2|AccessDenied 04:53, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

 Done, thanks!   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 22:20, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

Noticed your message on Yamla's talk, who's on rather sporadically. The relevant checkuser case is here. bibliomaniac15 05:12, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

Jami Deadly and Drew Edwards are divorced. Spouse should be changed to show this or deleted. It is not valid if kept the way it is. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.69.139.154 (talk) 21:07, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

Can we verify that they are now divorced with a current reliable source? Thanks!   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 21:08, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

Vandalism

Hey i deleted some un-sourced vandalism on the Phoenician article but you reverted my edit. why? http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Phoenicia

{{unblock|I'm sorry, I was trying to stop accused sockpuppet LebaneseZp (talk · contribs) from substituting badly sourced, badly written information (that multiple other editors considered to be vandalism) for well written information in the Phoenicia article. I promise I won't do that again.}}

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

As blocks are for prevention and not punishment, and because I believe you understand your actions and will not repeat them, I have unblocked you. Please be very careful to initiate discussion before reverting edits multiple times.

Your recent speedy nominations

Hi Jeff, please keep in mind that speedy deletion criterion A7 is only for articles that make no credible claim of importance or significance. Professional basketball teams, even if defunct, are not even close to meeting this criterion. I have reversed all of your tags. To pursue deletion, use WP:AfD, or possibly WP:PROD. decltype (talk) 11:59, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
