From what i know, the person who uploaded the image (i simply uploaded it again to this current file name..it was something else that was very long and cumbersome....) said they had the rights to the image, and gave permission to Wikipedia to upload, as it was on their Flikr.com account. However, if this turns out to be false, i will support any nomination for immediate deletion. RingtailedFox • Talk • Stalk 20:10, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
- It would be very helpful if you would please:
- Find the original upload.
- Modify your reuploading methodology to make 1 above easier in the future.
- Thanks! — Jeff G. 18:03, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
- Well, the original was deleted after this was uploaded and renamed. I'll modify its tags accordingly. RingtailedFox • Talk • Stalk 00:21, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
Template en-6
G'day, can you tell me what the difference between en-5 and en-6 is? --S.Örvarr.S 01:47, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
I guess not. --S.Örvarr.S 06:36, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
- I am sorry about the delay, I was thinking about how best to answer your question while I was on vacation. The simple answer is "Yes." The answer to the question you should have asked is that en-5s use English on a daily basis, whereas en-6s teach English, or are held out as examples of good users of English. — Jeff G. 20:43, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
Commercial Resale of Domain Names
Jeff - the information I added to the domain name page on the most expensive domain name purchases was removed by an anonymous user. I contacted this person directly (waiting to hear back), but wondered if it could be reinstated. Thanks. JMS1225 19:11, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
- In which edit was your information removed? Thanks! — Jeff G. 04:31, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
TfD nomination of Template:User en-6
Template:User en-6 has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for Deletion page.
Ok, sorry about this substituded template just to inform, but hopefully you'll understand the point. I'm sure you had a good idea to make the template, but at least I deem it somehow not really useful to many Wikipedians.
If you would like to keep the template, I'd suggest to move the source code of the template onto your userpage, if you still like to use it. Thanks! ~IS7 11:03, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks! — Jeff G. 18:43, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
Crazy-chicky
No, I haven't edited any articles because I am not quite sure I know how. I have been adopted and I'm learning how to edit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Crazy-chicky (talk • contribs) 17:47, 24 June 2007

{{further}}
Would you agree then that templates like this should be included for {{mainarticle}}, {{seealso}}, & {{details}}?199.126.28.20 01:23, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
- What would be the point? Have you looked closely at the subject template? Here it is, in all its glory: :''Further information: {{{1}}}''. It would be trivial to just type :''Main article: {{{1}}}'', :''See also: {{{1}}}'' or :''For more details on this topic, see {{{1}}}'' for one's self, or to make a template that does it. Please see {{sofixit}}. :) — Jeff G. 01:45, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
- I don't understand. As far as I know, {{further}} exists cause ULRs must be explicitly wikilinked. The same would happen with those other templates so sisters would be required to be made for them.199.126.28.20 04:24, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
- All any of them need is one new sister. Her name is {{go}}. Please try her out. Thanks! — Jeff G. 07:30, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

Mess o' Alevi articles
Hi, I just finished deleting a whole bunch of articles related to Alevi that you tagged as copyvios. First of all, thanks for all that work. Second, the last one you did, which is Alevi itself, I could not actually locate the copyvio in the blog you list as the source. There is a lot in that article, and there is a lot in that blog - I frankly don't have time to sort through all of it making comparisons. Can you perhaps cite which passages you found to be copyvio. Thanks! --Spike Wilbury ♫ talk 05:14, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
- You're welcome. IIRC, what I found is best summed up in these Google search results, I hope that's enough. Yes, there is quite a lot (47 kilobytes) in Alevi. — Jeff G. 05:35, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
Walter Model pic
Hi, thanks very much for uploading image:Walter Model.jpg! I owe you one. -- Hongooi 02:10, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

Amazing template! Thanks! Would you say then that all the other's it obsoletes should be deleted? Hey, thanks for making it, only a genius could have thought of it, but it was a great discredit and dishonor to claim that I am a banned user. If it weren't for me, you wouldn't have known about this problem.199.126.28.20 12:58, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
- Re the template, thanks! No, the other templates it emulates should stay for their user-friendliness (they make brackets and take multiple parameters). — Jeff G. 18:09, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
- No, I disagree, if we had too many templates, that just adds to confusion.199.126.28.20 12:55, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
- Re "banned", did you make this edit? If not, I would recommend that you get a username (see Wikipedia:Why create an account?). — Jeff G. 18:09, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
- I believe a person's mistakes (as percieved by society) does not define said person. Yes, I did make that edit. So if I failed you because you failed the course I taught, am I at fault?199.126.28.20 12:55, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
- You wouldn't know of any admins who could unblock me?199.126.28.20 13:12, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
- Perhaps you would get farther by apologizing for the death threats. You might even get even farther by writing that you would not be uncivil at all and that you would not battle. What were you thinking, writing those things? — Jeff G. 15:03, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
