Hey Julien! Yeah I can meet up tomorrow after class, but I thought that since Lisa's friend is coming from France on tuesday we were going to meet up on thursday? Either day works for me! Kristen Walters (talk) 22:52, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Another test message

[edit]

Hello Julien: I got your message. Remember, if you post a message to a person's talk page, that person will - or at least should - respond to you on YOUR talk page. Make sure that you sign all messages with four tildes or by clicking the signature button above, on the edit bar. --Greentina (talk) 00:48, 24 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Tina, I've just added the four tildes, sorry about that. I must say that wikipedia's talk sections are not as intuitive as a regular internet user would expect it. Facebook, gmail, MSN and all sort of forums are way easier to use! But it's good to learn. I will add references as soon as possible. --Julien de Leiris (talk) 00:40, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

First Edit

[edit]

Hi Jdeleiri, I looked at your first edit and the content is good, but I wonder if you couldn't add a reference to a reputable source where you could find this information? Also you forgot to sign your message on my Talk page. Please remember to do so every time you leave a comment on a Talk page. To do this, click on the fourth icon from the left, above (the pencil) or type four tildes (the squiggly line ~ ) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Greentina (talkcontribs) 00:29, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Useful source for your WP article

[edit]

I just came across a useful source. Have a look at this MA thesis (esp. the first chapter, but there's probably other material in it) - there is mention of the ACC's fight to preserve the parks from development. I am writing this message to everyone in your group so you can talk about it. The MA thesis is available online, through the UBC Library's databases. You will be able to download the PDF. Go to a database called Proquest Dissertations and Theses: http://resources.library.ubc.ca/32 and search for David Vogt, 'Every Drop of Water will be Desired': the Lake Minnewanka and Spray Lakes Controversies in Rocky Mountains National Park," MA thesis, University of Northern British Columbia, 2011. It has a good bibliography too. --Greentina (talk) 22:25, 9 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Outline? Sandbox?

[edit]

Hi there, I don't see a complete outline of the ACC article or a sandbox where you'll do your drafts. Will you create both please? If you don't know how, contact me and I will help. --Greentina (talk) 04:00, 16 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Tina, I added an outline of the article and a few words about what how I will contribute to it in "My Sandbox" this morning!Did I do something wrong? Julien de Leiris (talk) 05:55, 16 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
