MT-09 vs FZ-09 discussion moved
[edit]I moved the FZ-09 article title discussion to Talk:Yamaha MT-09#MT-09 vs FZ-09 and asked other editors from the Motorcycling Project to help resolve this. Thanks! --Dennis Bratland (talk) 15:31, 20 June 2015 (UTC)
Could someone at least elaborate on why if this is the MT-09 why it doesn't have multiple MT-09 editions. Street rally etc? The FZ-09 doesn't offer that at all.
- The discussion is not here. It is over at >>>---> Talk:Yamaha MT-09#MT-09 vs FZ-09 <----<<<< --Dennis Bratland (talk) 19:21, 24 June 2015 (UTC)

I am trying at least defend my changes The MT-09 is a Europe bike, but unlike the FZ-09 (the name for the MT-09 in the US and Canada) that is in Europe the MT-09 model has 3 sub models the MT-09 (regular) the MT-09 Sport Tracker, The MT-09 Street Rally and the MT-09 Tracer. The none of these bikes are in the United States nor Canada except for the Tracer which is the FJ-09. I need help getting this corrected and edited. None of these bikes are available in the United States. The FZ-09 is different than even the regular MT-09 is a series of bikes in the UK, Europe Japan and Australia. The FZ-09 which is UK & Canada which is limited to the US & Canada has one model just the FZ-09 the two are different not the same bike. You can't even buy parts off a Street Rally and put it on a FZ-09 Yamaha won't allow it.
this is the UK website showing all models of the MT-09 for my first reference. the second reference is the use website showing all models in the use [1] [2] This is the USA model only
Please help me with...

- Hi, Jdavis1130. I noticed that you posted {{help me}} within your talk page; I'll be happy to assist you. From what I am reading, it looks like you have already took the first step, edited the article, and the changes were subsequently reverted (I'm not 100% sure though). If this is true, the reason your edit was reverted was most likely due to not citing a reliable source (note the word reliable). I see that you have sources listed above, but they look to be published by the manufacturer and doesn't look to directly state the information that you are trying to add to the article. Before proceeding with any additional edits to the article, I highly recommend that you review and understand Wikipedia's Verifiability policy. It will be very useful to you and will help you to locate a secondary reliable source that you can reference when making your future edit to the article. Please let me know if you have any more questions. I'll be happy to assist you further. Happy editing! ~Oshwah~ (talk) (contribs) 10:58, 2 July 2015 (UTC)
- This is already being discussed at Talk:Yamaha MT-09#MT-09 vs FZ-09 and I have replied there also. Thanks MAbbey (talk) 14:48, 2 July 2015 (UTC)
