Hi there, regarding your contribution at List of Kalyeserye episodes in this edit, per WP:FILMPLOT, episode summaries should be 100–200 words. The content you submitted was 457 words, almost twice the upper limit. Anything longer than 200 words is unmanageable as it bloats the page and requires other editors to come by and trim it. Summaries should present the general arc of the episode, not go into excessive detail. This isn't an arbitrary matter, as lengthy, detailed plot write-ups can be considered "derivative works", which presents copyright problems. If you have time, it would be appreciated if you could trim down some of the episode descriptions you've submitted. Many thanks, and please understand that it's nothing personal. More about plot summaries

[edit]

Hi there, I don't mean to get on your case, and I appreciate that you've endeavored to provide a shorter summary at List of Kalyeserye episodes, but I've noticed some other issues. One is easily remedied, I think. When we write about fiction, we write in an unfolding present tense. Instead of "Lisa went to the refrigerator, opened the door and discovered a treasure map", we would write, "Lisa goes to the refrigerator, opens the door and discovers a treasure map." There are, of course, times when we will have to use the past tense. Ex: "Lisa goes to the refrigerator, opens the door and discovers a treasure map. It is later revealed that Lisa's ex-husband, John, put the map there while on the run from the cops." That should be an easy fix for you, I think.

The second issue is that you've introduced a lot of ambiguous pronouns in your summary. When you write something like "She then told her sisters that Yaya Dub was sad the previous day because her grandmother Isadora is leaving her and that she is fine now" it is very difficult to follow who "she" or "her" are at any moment, especially if the person reading (like me!) it isn't familiar with the subject or the characters. Are we talking about one person or three, in the sentence quoted? It's very important to remember that we are writing for people who know nothing about the series, so we have to be clear. What about here: "Alden asks Nidora where Yaya is to which she replied that she went to Church, she then showed pictures of people who will visit them on Saturday and when Yaya showed up, he can’t contain his happiness." As I am unfamiliar with the series, I have to assume that Alden asks Nidora where Yaya is. Nidora explains that Yaya went to church. I don't know if that's close, because I don't know which of these people are male or female. It also gets weird at the end, because it's unclear why the people are looking at photos, or how that relates to the story. We don't know, for instance, why Yaya can't contain his happiness. Does he like photographs? Anyhow, any clarity you could bring to these summaries would be appreciated. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 05:06, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I recently discovered that every one of the images you uploaded to Wikimedia Commons were copied from the Vatican website and claimed by you as your own work. May I be so bold as to ask whether your contributions to List of Kalyeserye episodes were written originally by you, or were they copied and pasted too? Information icon Hello, I'm WarMachineWildThing. I noticed that you made a change to an article, WWE Hall Of Fame, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Per WP:Crystalball the event is to far off to know who will host the event. Anything can happen in a year. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 05:36, 1 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
