Hi Jbb10020, if you have a photo of you saved on your computer or phone which you own the copyright to (such as you took the photo yourself), then you can go to the Upload Wizard on Wikimedia Commons (which is where most photos on Wikipedia are saved) and upload it through the form there. As far as I'm aware, it's unfortunately not possible to send a photo by email to be uploaded; however, you may want to ask at the Help Desk at Wikimedia Commons, as users there will know more about this issue than I do (here: c:Commons:Help desk). You should be able to use your account here on Wikipedia to login to Commons (if it doesn't login automatically). Seagull123 Φ 17:44, 29 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Janet, the Commons:Wikimedia OTRS release generator appears to have an option to email the photo afterward. But that’s only applicable if you own the copyright (or are an authorised representative for the company that owns the copyright). Is your situation more like "I have received permission from the original author (not me) to upload the file to Commons" described at commons:OTRS#Licensing images: when do I contact OTRS?? — Pelagic ( messages ) – (21:46 Sun 31, AEDT) 10:46, 31 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
