titles
[edit]Please notice that titles are not capitalized in wikipedia. Please uncapitalize them in "Lead and follow" article. If you added any text there, please provide references, per WP:CITE. - Altenmann >t 17:10, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
Citing
[edit]I am well aware that it is difficult to quickly find good references for many topics of dance technique other than ballet. I would suggest you to proceed as follows:
- remove dubious statements and reword badly phrased pieces;
- when adding new information, always supply it with references, no matter how tempting it is to add "correct information" "right now.
- and of course, every time you read a book and find a useful piece of info to add to wikipedia, you do this - this is the best and easiest way to grow wikipedia content. You will be surprized to see how much info is still missing form wikipedia.
You wrote: " I'm not sure I see the strengths to implementing the policy" - well, that's an easy question. Precisely because the policy was not followed you've got the mess of the article you are dealing with.
I would also recomend you to ask User:Steve Pastor and User:Macdonald-ross for possible good sources about ballroom/social dance technique. See also Wikipedia:WikiProject Dance for other dance-savvy editors. - Altenmann >t 06:05, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
