Glad to have your help on all things Blake- thanks for both of the comments on the talk page. Feel free to make the changes yourself, as not everything has to be run through committee here. One more note- sections should be posted at the bottom of the talk page. That said, I hope you enjoy your time here! Lithoderm 09:01, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've been meaning to ask if you have any information to add about professor Erdman... There is very little information about him to be found on the internet, not even dates of birth and death. I can't even tell if he is still with the living... as I remarked to User:Scandza, he seems to be (or have been) a very private person. Thanks for any info you can provide. He was (to my knowledge - I never met him) a very private person. A friend of mine was taught by him and I can ask him for details (he's away at the moment, so will have to wait a couple of weeks). Will try, however, even if only to get basic dates.Jason Whittaker (talk) 06:11, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Blake, Mysticism etc

[edit]

Hi Jason, I see you are in dispute about Victorian readings of Blake. This is surely a topic requiring Colin's input! Sadly the Great Ash Cloud has kept me in France for the last week, but I'll be returning tomorrow. I'll try to get him to give me some obscure sources from his book, which is, BTW, finally complete. I spent several hours scanning all his imqges for him just before I came over here.

I notice that we are both on the list of people to be (possibly) published after this Mysticism and Celticism conference, even before the papers hqve been delivered! Paul B (talk) 13:15, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Paul - Colin's book is far, far better than anything I can do on that particular topic (was sent the draft to read through for LUP). Hope you have managed to flee France now (my heart bleeds, it really does, hehe). Will see you in Cornwall in July - will be good fun.
