Referencing
[edit]I have 'collapsed' the earlier warnings, above.
The essential thing is, that you start using references to 'reliable sources'.
You have to say where information comes from - books, newspapers, etc.
See WP:VRS.
- How references work
You put reference details directly after each 'fact', in-between <ref> and </ref>.
The system then makes a small number, like [1]
You also need a 'reflist'.
The two parts looks like this;
- a)
Chzz is 98 years old.<ref> "The book of Chzz", Aardvark Books, 2009. </ref> He likes tea. <ref> [http://www.nicecupofteaandasitdown.com Tea website] </ref>
- b) A section called "References" with the special code "{{reflist}}";
== References == {{reflist}}
(an existing article is likely to already have one of these sections)
To see the result of that, please look at user:chzz/demo/simpleref.
---
The article you created "Pobreng Alindahaw" was deleted, because it had no references. I have re-written it and recreated it, in a valid format - see Pobreng Alindahaw.
Please read Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners.
Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Dumbele. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Chzz ► 13:57, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
