A tag has been placed on Josh Rosenthal (singer/songwriter), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Blanchardb -Me•MyEars•MyMouth- timed 00:52, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
- Hey Jason. Please don't remove the improvement tags without either improving the article to make the improvement tags obsolete or leaving a reason on the talk page. You've done the same edit twice and it could be construed as nonconstructive. Making the same revert 3 times is grounds for blocking per WP:3RR (3 reveret rule). Let me know if you have any questions about the tags. OlYellerTalktome 21:19, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Josh Rosenthal (singer/songwriter) has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bmyspace\.com (links: http://www.myspace.com/joshrosenthal).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 01:39, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Josh Rosenthal (singer/songwriter) do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

All articles are subject to our notability guidelines but as a musician Josh Rosenthal will be subject to Wikipedia:Notability (music). Please also note that Wikipedia regularly gets new articles on musicians who do not yet meet these guidelines and those articles are removed. To keep this article we need to be able to verify independent coverage in reliable sources (links to newspaper articles, for instance) and notability. Can you please help to provide this info? Thanks OlYellerTalktome 01:34, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Josh Rosenthal (musician)
[edit]I have nominated Josh Rosenthal (musician), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Josh Rosenthal (musician). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
