Thanks for your contributions. Regarding this page you created, I reccomend you either proofread your articles more or you learn English a little better before you translate articles. Like I said, thanks for your contributions, JHMM13 (T | C) 22:07, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
Vielleicht sollen Sie zuerst besseres Englisch lernen bevor Sie ganze Artikeln uebersetzen. Danke, JHMM13 (T | C) 22:12, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
Hi Japan01 —
I'm sorry that I nominated your article for deletion, but it wasn't anything against you, nor because I don't believe the article you wrote. I nominated your article for deletion because it is not an article for an encyclopedia. Wikipedia articles must be neutral, and must use sources to prove all of their points. The article sounds like you wrote it so that you could tell people about the role of Iran and Syria in the conflict, but this is the wrong reason to write an article. Wikipedia articles are not here to prove points.
I wish you the best of luck in editing this encyclopedia, please continue writing and discussing article with the community. — Asbestos | Talk (RFC) 14:47, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:BattleKnight.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:BattleKnight.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 06:16, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
Crescent Image
[edit]Hi,
I noticed a problem in the Shia Crescent Image: [1]. Northern Iraq is overwhelmingly Sunni, while southern Iraq is almost all Shia. The Sunni-Shia fault line passes through Baghdad. I would appreciate if you modify the image accordingly.Heja Helweda 01:53, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
Crescent
[edit]Thanks for the image update. I see the problem with the shape. If you add the eastern province of Suadi Arabia (the area between Kuwait and Qatar), then the whole picture will resemble a crescent in the Arab world (excluding Iran), and I think this is what King of Jordan had in mind when he first coined the term. Thank you again.Heja Helweda 02:37, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
- yes i made the 1st one, because i was just connecting the countries, so there was formed a crescent, without the directly situation where the people directly live. I hope this is now better. --Japan01 (talk) 03:59, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Screenshot der Dritte Weltkrieg 1.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Screenshot der Dritte Weltkrieg 1.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 04:55, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
Sebastian Alscher moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Sebastian Alscher, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
