Speedy deletion of "James M. Kirkpatrick"
[edit]A page you created, James M. Kirkpatrick, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how they are important or significant, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for biographies in particular.
You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Speedy deletion nomination of James M. Kirkpatrick
[edit]A tag has been placed on James M. Kirkpatrick requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Letsvidz
[edit]I am in the process of creating the page Letsvidz, please bear with me as I am new at creating pages. I would appreciate it very much, if it is not deleted.
Re: Deletion of Letsvidz
[edit]Re your message: When you removed all of the content, the article fell under criteria G7 of the speedy deletion criteria. However, you can recreate the article whenever you are ready. Just recreate the article in the same spot with whatever content you have ready. One thing you can do is create the article within your user space at User:Jamk9/Letsvidz, for example, work on it at your own pace and then move it into main space when you are done. If you create the article in your user space, you shouldn't have to worry about it being deleted while you work on it. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 02:50, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
{{helpme}} Could someone please visit User:Jamk9/Letsvidz and tell me if it meets the criteria for an article, and if not, please tell me what I can do to fix it. I have already tried to create this article, but it got deleted, so I created it on my user page. I am new to Wikipedia and would very much appreciate this. Thank you for your time, Jamk9 (talk) 17:47, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
- I'm not going to remove the help template, but IMHO 104 vids and 41 accounts is a few hundred thousand short of being notable in any way shape or form. As such, it appears to be more promotional, hoping someon will read an Encyclopedia article and be drawn to it. So, no, not at all meeting criteria for inclusion. - The proposed article does not establish any notability of the subject, nor is the content properly verified. Notability here means being the subject of significant treatment in independent reliable sources; that is, we measure whether a topic should be the subject of an article by whether reliable sources, in the the wider world that are unrelated to the subject, have taken note of the subject by writing about is substantively. Because Wikipedia is a tertiary source, all its information needs to come from such already published sources. I also think it to be probable that you have a conflict of interest in attempting to write this article. If a subject is truly notable some third party will eventually write the article. An involved person should not do so.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 18:20, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

License tagging for File:LarryDebGravesBrianRay.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:LarryDebGravesBrianRay.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 23:07, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
File copyright problem with File:LarryDebGravesBrianRay.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:LarryDebGravesBrianRay.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.
You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ~~EBE123~~ talkContribs 21:48, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
