Speedy deletion nomination of Osman Haji Mohamed Afrah Garun
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Osman Haji Mohamed Afrah Garun requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Velella Velella Talk 20:11, 29 February 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Cismaan Xaaji Maxamed Afrax.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Cismaan Xaaji Maxamed Afrax.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
- Hi Jamil, don't worry about the image deletion warning here, it's just because it's a duplicate image of the one at Commons. We'll keep one. Andy Dingley (talk) 10:36, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
File:Osman Haji.jpg
[edit]I'm unsure of the copyright status of File:Osman Haji.jpg and File:Osman Haji Mohamed Afrah Garuun.jpg. These do apear on another website shaaciye.com so they may be a violation of copyright. If it is a copyright violation then the version on commons would need to go but the English version could stay with a WP:FAIRUSE notice. Could you confirm the copyright status.--Salix (talk): 07:23, 15 April 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Osman Haji, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your account being blocked from editing. MikeWazowski (talk) 14:07, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you remove the maintenance templates from Wikipedia articles without resolving the problem that the template refers to, as you did at Osman Haji, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. MikeWazowski (talk) 18:50, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
- Please leave the maintenance templates in place. We all want Osman Haji to become a good article which meets with wikipedia standards. To achieve that work is needed on finding references and editing the text for style and fixing the format so all the links work. Keeping the templates there can help other editors achieve this. Things are going to be easier if we discuss what needs to be done. If you contine to just remove these we will get into a WP:EDITWAR and you could be blocked.--Salix (talk): 18:58, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
blocked for 3 hours for removal of material
[edit]{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Salix (talk): 20:38, 15 April 2012 (UTC)Why do you keep undoing everybody elses edits?
[edit]I can't understand why you keep undoing the other edits of people. Why do you remove paragraph breaks which make the text easier to read?
If you keep up this behaviour you wil be blocked again for longer periods, and if you persist you will loose the ability to edit completely.--Salix (talk): 06:55, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
