Hypetext link in article body

[edit]

Hi Jamesghenderson. I wanted to inform you that I removed the hypertext link you restored in article Peter Klopfer. It's a policy on Wikipedia not to include them in the article body. Please read WP:ELPOINTS "With rare exceptions, external links should not be used in the body of an article. Instead, include appropriate external links in an "External links" section at the end of the article, and in the appropriate location within an infobox, if applicable." If you wish to add that link to the article, then please do so as a reference link.

I hope this message does't sound too harsh. I think you've done great work on the article Peter Klopfer, especially since you're a new Wikipedia user. Mitchumch (talk) 10:44, 23 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
